Something needs to be done about this "swearing in" prior to giving an opinion.
It's not a court of law.
Right or wrong, a person is entitled to an opinion and NOTHING about it constitutes a truth.
IMO, "they" are trying to intimidate, so people won't opine.
Don Cathcart said he knows someone that has surveyed the entire country for a place to live and they chose Salisbury. Is he nucking futs or what? Who is he talking about, Barries fictional family, the Larsons? Someone that wants a position at SU? Anyone that does a city search chooses Salisbury once they see the crime rate, tax rates, water & sewer rates, housing rates and then income levels. Is this man on some sort of hallucinogen? The man may be intelligent but what a MAROON!

Thanks again for this, but a suggestion: When GA moderates these (and for his time behind the keyboad tonight) we are provided a pretty distinct blow-by-blow account of what is happening. I, presonally, have satillite television, so cannot watch PAC14 anymore. When you moderated, it seemed like one would need to be watching the Live Blog AND the PAC14 coverage simultaneously to fully understand what was happening.
Your commentary seems appropriate, but out of context it can be confusing figuring out what went on. My suggestion would be to treat the Live Blog like its radio, and provide more description with the commentary.
After reading through this, I am not entirely sure what happened and await a more detailed synopsis, that will hopefully be coming.
