i can tell you this much... if they have the same management and employees that were there before, they can have it! that place was nice when it first opened, but later turned to crap! i got a cheeseburger there one time with no meat on it. i took it back and the manager rolled her eyes at me. THEN, her and the cook proceeded to get into a shouting match about it. i got my burger and have not been back since! and i never will!
If the Wendy's across the street were on the ball they could reap the benefit from McDonalds being closed , however they are worthless!!! Worst service i've ever seen !!!
You haven't been at the Wendy's near WalMart and Sam's Club along North Rt 13. That's an embarrassment to the city of Salisbury! It's filthy, the staff is slow and the service is really bad.
I think Wendy's has been getting more business since McDonalds has been closed....at least it looks that way. We were in there Saturday night and they were very friendly to us and the service was great. Just thought I would put in a good word for them. :-) I'm sure that when McDonald's opens back up it might hurt them a little though. Not many fast food restaurants to choose from in that area of town!
11;26a I am glad you saw what I saw there. We used to go there all of the time but something changed with the management and we had to stop. If they use the same RUDE managers they had before we won't bother to stop in there. However by the signs in their other locations they may be getting all new people , I sure hope so!
I've been there twice. The first time, I was supposed to get $7 change. Instead of a five and two ones, I got three ones. They did correct the error. About a month later, my change should have been $13. Instead of a ten and three ones, I got a five and three ones. They corrected it, but I stopped going.
Fast food doesn't need to be fine dining, but as customers we should be able to expect a clean environment (not optional!), fast and friendly service, and consistant quality of food. The high turnover of employees, due to the fact that most are otherwise unskilled labor, may cause some issues with counting out change, not giving napkins, etc., but the management must make certain that these employees under their direction have a good attitude towards customers. You might forget not having ketchup packets in your bag, but you'll remember a rude cashier. Many of these employees are in their first job, and the lessons they learn about customer service will last forever. It's up to the management to set the standard.
I have seen that it is the same management team as before, my co-workers and myself included will not be eating there even with the brand new building! The managers treat their employees like dirt! Yell at them all the time! I don't want my kids to have their first job with people like that. I go to the one up by Best Buy!

It does not appear to be much bigger than the old one.
I agree - I thought it was supposed to have a play area for kids?

It's the same OWNER. Going to Best Buy doesn't help you one bit.
