Did You Know????
Have you ever received a parking ticket in Downtown Salisbury? Were you aware that if you head right into the GOB and pay the fine it's only $1.00? That's right. If you go in there right away, (within 1 hour) you only have to pay a dollar, rather than the full fine issued on the ticket. Food for thought.

I knew that, but don't park downtown enough to have to worry about it! I wish downtown had more worth going down there for.

Park leagaly and you have no need to worry about it.
When I lived in Ocean City they had the same policy back in the late 70's early 80's. I don't need anything from downtown except an occasional council meeting when parking is free anyway.

personally I think it IS news!! I didn't know it. TY Joe.
i park in the free lot. do not wish to contribute another nickel to the city. if i need more than 2 hours,(rare) i leave, drive around & park again. also, the 3rd hour is not too bad for a buck.
You can only get one ticket for $1.00 once a month and only on meter violations only.
