One Year Ago Today

Be careful who you hang with! While candidates were agreeing to work together by virtue of a pledge to one and other, the games were still being played in the background. Remember images like Lyn Cathcart & Donnie Williams together. Remember who the Firefighters stood behind. Salisbury, (IMO) is a very screwed up City. If I was selling newspapers I'd be making millions because the areas in which voters don't get out and vote seems to prove to be the perfect environment for controversial information. I just wonder when everyone is going to wake up and make changes by getting out and finally voting? This particular round of pictures was taken one year ago at the Firefighters Forum.

There must have been something free involved for Donnie Williams to be there.

Donnie will probably be at the Zoo lunch. Free food. Maybe a handout or two.

and soon after this forum the firefighters held a dinner in which the mayor made a grand entrance. She fell flat on her ass, drunk, as she came in the door. Imagine going to a public function already completely inebriated and being the guest speaker. Thats our mayor. Firefighters should have left her on her ass and took photos.

The "Clean Campaign" pledge was carried out by at least two of the candidates, Cohen and Spies, but we all know how Smith and Comegys' backing by the mayor smeared Spies so he lost by a few votes. EVERYONE who voted for the Weasel and her toad should take back their votes!

Hell if the budget had been released on time before the election, dumb F'k comegy's would have lost even with the mayors smear tactics. Tim Spies would have crushed him.

130 some votes short I am willing to bet there are a lot more people that would have changed their minds and more people voting if the budget and the 14% tax increase was anounced prior to the election as it was suposed to be. crooks

Those 130 votes were compliments of SU students. After that letter sent out to them by SAPOA they did exactly as they were told.

Look at Bubba in that photo, hiding his face as he should in the presence of a man as great as Tim Spies. Bubba couldn't carry water for Tim. How sad for Salisbury to have a man that can not put a coherent sentence together, representing the city.

What ever happened to Donnie's promised funding to the hospital building campaign...you should look into weather or not the hospital actually received any of what he pledged to give after an article and his picture was in the "Tilghman Times"..if what I've heard is true that could be quite a story. Perhaps someone else knows more.
