Wednesday's Sports Preview

Tonight the Lady Indians' of Wicomico take on The Lady Rams at Parkside high tonight at 7pm. Both teams post an 11-3 conference record, but the Indians have the edge with a 16-4 overall record to Parksides 15-4. Both are behind the 15-1, 20-1 Pocomoke Warriors in the Bayside South Division. On paper, this should be a great game for some school pride!

Kent Island's girls visit Snow Hill at 7pm and Snow Hill men's team visits Kent Island at 7pm. Snow Hill men's team is 15-0 in conference play as will as a 19-0 over all record.

On the NCAA side, The Terps start their campaign for their bid to make a run in Field of 64 against Virginia Tech. Maryland (17-9) is comming off a win over Florida State this past weekend. To make the Big Dance Maryland needs to try and win out without any blowouts to impress the selection committee. Tech 14-11 are looking in as a long shot for the Big Dance and to try and play spoiler to the Terps. The game is at home which will be plus for Maryland as well as leading Tech in the major statistical categories. Tech is also looking to end a 3 game loosing streak, all in conference play.

This will be one to watch. The game is televised on the Comcast Channel, channel 21 at 9pm.

The Men and Ladies teams from Salisbury travel to Marymount tonight.

not sure if it was a typo, but maryland is no where near 17-4. they're 17-9.....but 7-4 in the ACC.
