Last night while I attended the Democrat Club of Wicomico County Meeting, President Jim Ireton stood proud sporting this Bumper Sticker they had for sale for anyone to purchase.
Me personally, I would rather sport a bumper sticker that says, I am a Democrat or I am a Republican. However, to each his own, I guess?
The meeting had around 14 people in attendance, including Guest Speaker Mayor Barrie Tilghman. I did hear Mr. Ireton announce that almost 50% more Democrats made it to the Polls during the Primary and I have to admit, that's some damn good results. They should be proud. ALL American's should be partaking in these elections and the Democrats certainly did a fine job pulling their team together to vote.
As for the purchase of these bumper stickers, I didn't see one of them get sold. You know, the economy and all. LOL

Jim, if you want to run for mare you have to remember the city in nonpartisan and you may need those valuble GOP votes. Don't be an idiot like the curren mare.

When it comes to a point where your party is more important than the person running, the country is in big trouble. I believe there are people out there would would vote for Charles Manson if he was the candidate for their party!
Ask yourself, when was the last time you voted out of your party. If you can't remember one, you're probably one who would vote for Manson! No one party has ALWAYS had the best candidate!
A teacher he is. Worthless? Absolutely not. Have you seen this man in class? Have you spoken with his students?

You are exactly right, look what's going on with OBAMA Bin Laden and the Democraps. If he gets elected this country is in deep shit and we have no one to blame except the democrat party.
Guess you all haven't been listening to Rush or Sean--if McCain wins, it's THE END OF THE WORLD!!!! Vote Democratic this year--just like Limbaugh, Hannity, Coulter, etc (well, unless they aren't telling the truth about how they will vote).

Jim Ireton is a class act with integrity who has done remarkable things to help his students. Others want to know his approaches because they work.
Every penny invested in his salary is worth it ten times over.
And yep, he has many Republican admirers, and I'm one of them. I'd vote for him anytime.
Jim Ireton is a great guy, and he would be absolutely non-partisan as a mayor. Unlike certain individuals we all know, Jim is able to listen to dissenting ideas without freaking out. He has a great sense of humor, and can laugh at himself--that is truly rare among politicians.

Yep--had Louise been able to laugh at herself at that meeting she so abruptly adjourned a few weeks back, she would have diffused the situation instead of escalating it! But as we see, hell hath no fury like a council president scorned.
