You nailed it, Joe!! All of us have heard the gems Shanie comes up with and we laugh so hard at her total ignorance. She surely doesn't understand balancing a checkbook--she just had her house foreclosed on. Shanie is a real dim bulb.
Yeah, she is freakin moron and I really resent the fact that this ignorant apathetic insufferable pig has cost hundreds of taxpayers hard earned money. But that is a concept that escapes Shanie, "hard earned".
Wait just a minute:
Shanie knows where the City can get those "high-risk" mortgages like she used to get some extra spendin money. Too bad that they lender insists on being paid, right Shanie?
She has cost THOUSANDS of taxpayers their hard earned money for NOTHING!
If the books had been right, would they have revealed that we didn't need the tax hike, just like we DIDN'T need the water/sewer hike after all??????????
Shanie is just the go-along girl. So she can go-along when we recall the mayor and her other puppets, Smith and Comegys!

Shanie is so incapable that it is a huge embarrassment for the City and its citizens. But her zero intellect is exactly what Barrie needs in order to govern. Gary and Louise are the same--can be swayed and managed by Barrie. None of them have the courage to stand up to her. Gary can't even do his day job.
All she needs is a frog in her hand and she could be in a Star Wars episode.
Not all elected officials understand the amount of reading, studying, listening and analyzing that are necessary to be effective public representatives. Absent those skills and behaviors, they often side with those whom they believe to have political power because opposing them would require a high level of independent thinking. I am sorry Ms. Shields has lost her home but regret she chose to blame it on a balloon mortgage and a deceased spouse. It is so sad that an adult is not confident enough to take responsibility for her personal and her public decisions.

Wait just a cotton pickin minute. Poor Shanie's house got foreclosed upon because of her dead husband. Don't you all know anything. It wasn't her fault he signed a 40 YEAR MORTGAGE. I mean, I know the rate was fixed but her payment tripled. (Note: the previous text is dripping with sarcasm in case some of you were wondering)
On another note...I figured out why her payment tripled. You see, when you don't pay for three months, your payment essentially triples, creating a HUGE financial hardship. Those nasty lenders. They got a lot of nerve expecting Madame Entitlement to pay her debts.
Like many others the future means nothing to Shanie Shields. The house foreclosure was her fault. Look into your future people and think...don't just trust. Her ignorance lost her house and now she is willing to jeopardize our community in the same way. That is the sign of mental disease. Doing the same thing over and over disregarding the results.
