Mayor Tilghman Will Be At Council Work Session Tonight

My COEIU, (Crack Offshore Electronic Intelligence Unit) Agent just intercepted yet another telephone conversation confirming Mayor Barrie Tilghman is expected to attend tonight's City Council Work Session at 4:30 PM.

I'm also told they may want to relocate this particular meeting to the main Council Chambers as there is a huge crowd expected to be there to hear the excuses spewing from the Mayor. Word on the street is, bumper stickers may be available for those who attend.

Bring it on, Barrie. You've burned your last bridge with us. Maybe your fightin' daughter can come with you?

I bet Barrie's cussin' the air blue! For sure, Louise, Gary and Shanie were not up to the task of 'splaining this mess. Best show in town at 4:30 p.m.

Campbell and Cohen--don't give an inch to this -itch.

I like your recent photo of her pointing (at you-?); you can almost hear her saying the f-word.

Is Oland still a "No Show" or has her leader ordered her to be there?

Do the world a favor and have a bottle of Cutty Sark sent to her house ASAP.

Should be a large crowd of irate
citizenry at this meeting and the lies will no doubt be thick and heavy. It will be worth the time to see Barrie and her goup of A-kissers squirming through this audit message. Don't let them tell us again that it was a problem of untrained staffers. We pay a large salary for much better controls and for government in the sunshine (right Louise?). I would love to know what Pam's and John's salaries are. Could both be at six figures? If so, we are not getting a thing for what we are paying!

The Citizens of Salisbury aught to demand an immediate & independant investigation into the gross & continuous mismanagement of the city funds. A few months ago,an unaccounted $8 Million was discovered in a water or sewer account. Now $10 Million are discovered. How many more millions are unaccounted for?????

This (from the Daily Times) hits the spot:

"It's time for Barrie to abandon that recycled Plan A (I'm responsible -- we heard that on last year) to Plan B (I didn't know because nobody told me).

And she can make it all better if she gives the auditor one of her "certificates of appreciation" at the next City Council meeting on TV."
