The Daily Times Believes the "C" Word Is A Part Of Freedom Of Speech

A commenter writes:

"So I called the Daily Times because I am furious about the comments from NotNuts referring to Debbie and Terry as "C"'s and "B"'s. "Brian" 410 749 7171extension 226, does NOT think that the "C" word, you know rhymes with punt is particularly offensive, certainly not worth any admonishment to NotNuts. However they did slap ComeHere for his linking to the blog site. I asked how he would like his wife being referred to as a "C" . It is not relevant, this is America with freedom of speech etc. But you can't post a link to a website? It is absolutely despicable that a commenter refers to any female this way."

The Daily Times is as hypocritical as Shields, Comegys, the Mare and Louweasel.

What did you expect?

As much as I can't stand the Mare and Louweasel, I wouldn't call them those two things.

That is absolutely the most disgusting, degrading word in the english lanquage!!! The reply strengthens the "TIGHLMAN TIMES" name. I wonder how he would feel if someone called his mother that name? I am sure that if that was used in reference to her highness, the mayor, it would be moderated!!
I too believe in freedom of speech ,but in a respectful manner.

I think his "A" should reshaped into a "C" and fill to the "T" with my #11 boot!

What do you expect from a company that hires someone in the classified dept that openly admits to not posting someones advertisement? The advertisements paid for by whomever and she doesn't even bother to get them in. Whats worse there is no remorse when she publicly (PAC 14) admits to it. Everyone at the Daily Times is slack. I'd fire the whole damned bunch of them and start from scratch. The DT is good still in business for one reason, Gannett needs a tax write off.

Call the public radio station to see if they would allow this word on air. Ask for Mr. Dunn.

careful folks,

when you moderate comments, you can be held liable for the ones you allow. When you don't moderate comments, you are indemnified.

Be careful about choosing to moderate.
