Good to see the women in politics stick to the good ol' boy system too. She is a joke.
Every statement in this is true, including the fact of the connection of Oland and Casey, Barrie's daughter.
Oland should do the honorable thing and resign.
There were other very outstanding City employees in the Finance Department who were subjected to Barrie's brand of administration and are no longer with the City.
Hope they post anonymously about Barrie's twisted methods.

It began even before then. About 6-7 years ago Barrie forced Roger Baskerville to resign as the City treasurer -- he was the best in modern times -- and then got rid of a gal named Shirley, who was also very good.
Cawley (Baskerville's successor)was a bobble head buffoon who had difficulty with simple numbers as well but kept his job as a reliable "yes man" for Barrie to "go to" like she did with the new city engineer on Monday night.
Since she became mayor almost 10 years ago, Tilghman has devastated the City administration, beginning with late Police Chief Dykes, and bringing in puppets and incompetents that she can control.

She did the same thing with the Salisbury Fire Department. Look at the so called leaders, and I use that term loosely, over their now. The SFD is the laughing stock of all fire departments. Thing were so much better before Chief Higgins was ran off.

You've got that right! I am so glad I don't live in the city limits. Pay is bad and taxes are to damn high.
