God Gave It All To Me?

A Commenter Said.....

"I would be careful Joe, everything you have has been given to you by God, and he can take it away. It all belongs to the kingdom of heaven anyway. God might want to see how you use your money and treat people."

Well if that is the case, I wish God would pay all my taxes as well. Does that also mean God is AKA, IRS? The IRS likes to take God's money he gave to me away, so shouldn't you be writing the IRS instead?

By the way, is that Kingdom called Washington? Just curious.

Listen to fisherman: any time I have ever commented on, or questioned, the motives or beliefs of any religion, the readers here go into overdrive, hopping mad. And you think making the firefighters upset is something....

thank you gentlemen, not meant to be sarcastic, just point out helping people is far better than making it hard for them.

You have your millions, why stop others from trying to do better no matter what perfession they work at. Oh by the way, a Montgomery County Sgt. makes over $100,000 a year now. Montgomery PD has just gone to a 30 year 85% retirement also.

Should we knock them for being able to fo this, I compare them to us becuase, Mont Co. has a 60% tax base, LIKE Wicomico Co.

Joe, let me ask you this question, If your wife or any of your family became terminally ill woudl you then ask God for help?

Dont deny his hands in things, he may show you how involved in your life he is, and he has ways to get your attention.

Anyonoe who has children, the minute something happens, they look up and pray.

The teacher who will not acknowledge God, in a school shooting hides under the desk and prays.

IN the end, we all pray and in the end is the wrong time to do so.

anonymous,

It's none of your business how, when and or if I worship or pray.

That alone tells me exactley your position in the matter. You see if you dont admit it and want to hide it, you are probably not thinking of others, but yourself.

I am sorry to hear this...

Anon 11:35 I am sorry for your loss, I am very sorry for the choices your son made in life. It is my belief that God was right there with your son when he made the fatal choice to hang himself. He was there with him when he made the choice to commit whatever crime it was that landed him in WCDC. Don't blame God, he gave us free will. The blame lies with your son, he used his free will to make bad life choices. This is not your fault or Gods fault. This is a part of life most will not accept as choices made by our own free will.

I am terribly sorry for your loss.
