Ladies & Gentlemen,
For several months I have been working closely with WMDT 47 News trying to work with them on their Internet presence and we have finally arrived. What started with Salisbury News will expand into several local Blogs you can access right from their Home Page.
If you simply go to their home page and look on the left hand column, look for the link named BLOGS. You can access us through this new tool. It's my understanding WMDT has cut two commercials they'll be airing to promote the BLOGS as well.

Not sure I understand why this is so important? They have a link that says blogs. How are you helping them with their internet presence? They have the same webpage they've always had.

I want to commend WMDT for its bold, brave move to bring "alternative" views.
I miss Kenny Beck's investigative pieces, like the WWTP.
Go, go, go, WMDT and while I don't agree with many things I see on the blogs, I love the forum for the people to speak.
i think it is a great idea. Now rather than having to go to 5 or 6 individual sites I can go to one site to get my total blog on! Good job joe.

Funny part is, Kenny Beck won an Award on that story and guess who delivered the entire thing to him? ME! Sorry for patting myself on the back for that but quite frankly WMDT knows I'm on the ball, I'm everywhere they go, (fo the most part) and I'm also in many places they're clueless about. Together we can ALL work together to help deliver all sorts of news and it doesn't cost them a penny.
Enjoy it while you can. When Barrie Tilghman gets a hold of whoevers balls it was that has to do with promoting the blogs it will be very short lived. Barrie, queen of Ozbarrie will not have dissention within the media.
It is a good idea but it eats up almost 2" of my monitor screen.

Maybe WMDT will do a story on the Wicomico County Board of Ed's budget and the extravagant ENP program that gives 10% bonuses to retiring employees for the next three years. Get with it WMDT!
