Why reference old news?
When will The Daily Times become current with news articles? Every time you hear about the Sheriff's Office, The Daily Times references old articles that have no bearing on the current story. Is this sensationalism or poor journalism in a small market?
If you're interested in CURRENT news and information about the Wicomico County Sheriff's Department you'll need to come to SBYNEWS.COM.
The Daily Times rarely shows up at Press Conferences held by the WCSO. They simply use the Press Release and once in a Blue Moon they'll show up to take a photo.
Did you see anything referencing today being Mike Lewis' One Year Anniversary in The Daily Times? NOPE! However, I can assure you that they'll be stepping up their year in review and or create a new section because they know for a FACT that SBYNEWS.COM is in fact giving them a serious run for their money.
So if you want current information, come here. If you want to read SBYNEWS.COM news a day later and even up to two weeks later, go to The Daily Times. ROTFLMAO!

Who said it was "current news?" It clearly states ONE YEAR AGO TODAY. You guys need to get a grip.
Gull, I think the idea of looking back is a good thing. It makes us see both how far we have come and how far we have to go.
Besides, I bet if you were reading this in the Daily Crimes "Newstracker" you wouldn't be complaining.
Joe, something funny happened when I read the slime today...it had on the front page about Gilchrest accepting PAC money to fight Andy Harris. That sounds AWFULLY familiar...LOL
