SPD "Keepin It Real" Press Release #2

On December 13, 2007, Detectives of the Salisbury Police Department charged the below listed suspect with burglaries that occurred in the Salisbury area in October of 2007. This suspect has been charged with a number of burglaries that occurred in the Southern region of Salisbury, in areas predominantly occupied by college students. The suspect was found to have attended parties in the residences, using this as an opportunity to observe the contents of the apartment. The suspect would then return later for the purpose of committing the burglary. The suspect was found by Salisbury Detectives to be utilizing e-bay to sell the stolen property.

Arrested: Jamar Leonel Cadejuste, 21 years of age Salisbury, MD

Charges: Theft (3 counts)

On December 12, 2007 at approximately 10:34 pm, Officers of the Salisbury Police Department conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle operated by the below listed suspect for traffic violations. Upon contact with the driver, the officer noticed the scene of suspected marijuana emanating from the vehicle. The officer checked the vehicle and located a quantity of suspected marijuana in the passenger area.

Arrested: Charles Gregory Morton, 44 years of age Salisbury, MD

Charges: Possession of marijuana

Disposition: Released to Central Booking
