SPD Carjacking Press Release

December 20, 2007

On December 20, 2007 at approximately 11:33 am, Officers of the Salisbury Police Department received a call to respond to the Top Ten Store on W. Isabella St. for the report of an assault and a car jacking. Upon arrival, the officers found a victim that had sustained a stab wound to her lower right back. The victim was transported by Salisbury Fire Department EMS to the Peninsula Regional Medical Center for treatment. The victim advised that she and the suspect had been located in the victim’s vehicle, at the Top Ten Store, and became involved in a verbal argument. During the argument, the suspect who was known to the victim, was located in the rear seat of the vehicle. The suspect produced a small kitchen type knife and leaned over the seat to stab the victim. Once the victim received the stab wound, the victim exited the vehicle. The suspect then relocated to the driver’s seat and left the area in the victim’s vehicle. A description of the vehicle was broadcast to all agencies in the area, and a Deputy of the Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office located the vehicle on Camden Avenue. The vehicle was stopped, and subsequently the suspect was located. After a brief struggle, the suspect was taken into custody. The vehicle was recovered, and the knife used in the assault was located a short distance away.

The victim is reported to be in stable condition.

"Deputy of the Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office located the vehicle on Camden Avenue"
In bold joe? What's your point?
Wish I had a nickel for every time spd finds a robbery suspect.
Biased biased biased.
Or what about the trooper who located the other stolen vehicle and suspect at wawa?

I was simply trying to show the joint effort between both organizations, something the general public would not normally recognize.

The WCSO has been working very hard to team up with the SPD and both parties have been very welcoming, with the exception of one Wife of one Officer.

Nevertheless, kudos to ALL parties involved.

Give it up Joe. Dirt is dirty?

And Joe... go start a fight with someone who doesn't care about their job or how it's done. Or even better someone who doesn't mind hurting people and leave nothing but pain in their wake. Believe me there are enough of them around (look at this post for starters). Go single them out and leave me the hell alone. In the mean time I will continue to earn every single penny of my paycheck, and will always be willing, and able to put my life on the line for another officer or civilian when in need. No matter where they work.
I hope your holiday is safer than mine. Thanks for the respect. Just keep embarassing yourself, it seems to be the only thing you're good at.

TM-You & your wife sure seem to be interested in Joe's blog. Gee whiz...why don't you stop looking at it if the truth bother's you so much and go "save" the city. And to your wife, you cheated on your husband. Your just as guilty as the other half. Stop blogging, nobody wants to hear your crazy thoughts anyways...

6:55 and... you are doing what?

6:55 You give everyone reason to criticze SPD and everyone in it. And your thoughts are worth what?Just give people like Joe more credibility and ammo to show the world the kind of jealous, immature losers that seem to be working there. You should be proud. You should spend more time in the streets and less time trying to bring up very old news on a good cop. If you're lucky he will be gone soon so you won't have to spend another minute in his shadow. You should be ashamed. Turning on one of your own.

I thought you said it takes Salisbury EMS forever to get to a call. I believe they were pretty quick on this one as they are on everything else. GET A LIFE!!!!!!

This is not accurate at all. You left out alot! You make it sound like wcso apprehended the suspect. Far from the facts.

Joe, inside the vehicle was the suspects mother who was attempting to return the vehicle to the victim. And the mom was intending to go to the police herself. The suspect was apprehended by SPD at her home.

You might want to get the real facts out before you post your one sided BS.
