Start using the timestamp feature on your camera when you see these types of things.
I love to hear them say "that's an old picture" or "how do you know how long it was there..."
Timestamps combined with shadows make for proof that can be taken to court.
For years I have used those Sony Mavicas with floppy discs and CD's because then the 'media' is admissable as evidence.
The Worcester County Grand Jury had our CD's available as "evidence" when they investigate the Pocomoke election fraud.
