The Daily Times Wants To Be Just Like Joe Albero

Not only is The Daily Times now posting all the crime stats, (which is a really good thing) from the SPD but now when you go to their Home Page and look at their top news stories, look what they send you to! I posted my story at 9:10 AM this morning and they decided it was so good that they better follow my lead. Click the link below and it takes you to the same story/facts. ROTFLMAO!

DATA CENTER: Maryland tax rates by county, municipality - 2:31 PM

Oh, do tell me, what does the Daily Times cost per day and what does Salisbury News cost per day? Just wondering!

There are a couple of differences between Salisbury News opinionated biased postings and the investigative reporting done by the Daily Times. Now I’ll be the first to say the Times doesn’t always get the story perfect, but the Times writings are far more factual than Salisbury News. Sorry Joe, you’re to damn opinionated.

Joe, I'm thinking you should also move to the next level and host a PAC14 show--how 'bout it? It would be a refreshing change from seeing Barrie and Phil Tilghman on there incessantly. If you did it, Barrie would flip out!

OK John, you're right, I can't argue that point. We're two different entities with two different styles. SBYNEWS.COM will soon enough have a Staff to offer similar reporting. It's that next level thing. Thanks for sharing your opinion AND your name. Joe

P.S., You have to admit, they are following my lead though. LOL

As for the PAC14 thing, I'll consider that thought. I have some people who already took the class, so we'll have to see what happens after the 1st of the year?

Joe, the DT will never be like SBYNEWS.COM!! I get you every day. They only show up 3-4 times a week. LOL!!

If the Daily TImes continues to publish your stories than you have done this city a great service. Too many of the citizenry reads the paper or listens to local news and accepts everything they say as fact. The more info that the Daily Times steals from you the better!!!

Investigative reporting, Oh please, give me a bresk. At best it's intern jounalism and more junk mail, it's just thrown in your yard instead of put in you mailbox.

As a resident of the Salisbury community, I have been reading this blog for a while and I have one question, do you just complain all day? I agree that the city of Salisbury has some issues that need to be addressed and that is why I am an active member in the community. You however, you need to get off your ass and create the change you want to see instead of bitterly rambling about it all.

This is my second time posting this comment, but apparently you don't like to be proven wrong. The Daily Times posted the tax info 1 day before your post. So, who's copying who? I'm sure this won't be posted because the only opposition you post is those that make the FD look like assholes.

Joe:

With "Delmarva Dealings" now dormant or dead (don't know which, do you?) and "Duvafiles" losing it and fading fast, YOU DA MAN!

Happy New Year -- keep it up, please. And do the PAC-14 thing, too.

PAC-14 is a great idea. And anon 12:32 - ALL NEWS IS BAD NEWS. You don't see cover pages of "Look at the young Volunteers" or "Records show Salisbury Community happy with the Way things are run". Cover stories that get attention are "Iraq has Highest month of fatalities" or "Local Official caught up in Prostitution Ring" lol....Those "good news" articles are in the verrrry back of the paper or in an article sooo small, you dismiss it anyway. Bad news, gets the publicity. Period. People crave it. Some even thrive on the drama.
