These men and women are just fine. It only takes a person with a computer and a grudge to type away all day with stupid things to say. I could start making up a story right now about the police and you would believe it. Your beliefs are only as strong as your imagination lets them be. OMG!Why the hell are you people atacking me?I lost a family member in the line of duty as a firefighter and I think for the most part they are a brave and selfless people-Im not ashamed to say I wouldnt do it so I give anyone who does alot of credit-but when a select few post vulgar messages it makes the whole organization look bad and all I was saying is someone who is in command needs to reign them in.
As far as "coming to find me" I can assure you that all you will find here is my 6'3 husband,who has hands the size of canned hams & used to be a bar bouncer!I try to stay under the radar but I do not appreciate being threatened when all I am doing is giving my opinion.Whatever happened to honor??

Why would Gordy tell them to knock it off?? I have personally seen him, See, and Hoppes, the top 3 idiots in the fire department read this blog, post on this blog and encourage the troops to post negativity on this blog. David See is one of the most miserable persons that have ever existed in the Salisbury Fire Department and has the most vulgar mouth in the entire fire department. This man has cussed the volunteer firefighters so much during his career that he is one of the most hated individuals in the fire department. Under a previous administration he was on the verge of being terminated until there was an investigation into the leadership and a shake up in the fire department and he slipped out of the sight of the bullseye. And along comes Barrie Parsons Tilgman who promoted this monster and Bill Gordy. Birds of a feather!!!

Well I am glad to hear this is not CR and it goes to show you there are some serious cut throat firefighters in the Salisbury Fire Department that will use a sensitive situation such as beautiful children to stir shit. It is time to clean house in the Salisbury Fire Department and that means getting rid of See, Hoppes, and Gordo with no questions asked. When the dust settles send everyone that is left for some serious psychological testing. Many of these people are dangerous and they are a liability to the citizens of Salisbury.

Well, first and foremost, all of you see my pic and know who I am. My belief...if you can't post something, stand behind your belief, and identify yourself, your words mean nothing.
This is a definite first but, it was brought to my husband's attention on Friday that it was believed he was posting on this site because of some alleged race issues within the department. Not that he doesn't care about anyone being allegedly treated unfairly, we just haven't had time to care, let alone comment...until it's concerning us!
I am unsure who has decided to "fight for a cause" by impersonating my husband on this site, but I'd have to say, WOW, you went to great lengths to have people believe it was him when it wasn't. I/we have never, nor ever intend to be the interracial spokescouple for race relations and it's acceptance within the fire department or lack therof.
Although Cor wishes not to entertain this drama, by continuing to not post on blog sites (which I believe is a wise choice), I just could not stand for this person disparaging the deparment, its personnel, or Joe A., when all we've done since our relocating to Salisbury is mind our own business, while enjoying this cute little town and our lives in it.
If anyone knows my husband at all, you would know that we have been together way too long to worry about saying such politically correct words as "african american" or "bi-racial" like this imposter says.
Yes, our children are beautiful MIXED kids and I am Cor's BLACK wife. Never has it been a problem, nor will we allow it to become one. People talk...they always have, they always will, and to all of those people who are talking about our mixed kids or me as a firefighter's black wife....thanks for making us important enough to be the topic of your conversation today.
