Let's start with these photos. These are Aeriel photos of The Daily Times new facility. Besides the fact that the Paper had 2 inches worth of advertising inserts, it's not as if they didn't make a small fortune advertising! Have any of you tried to run a simple ad in their want ads lately? They want something like $300.00 for a 4 line ad! Perhaps it's time for Salisbury News to start running ads?
CORRECTION! The Daily Times building is actually the bigger building on the left in the photo provided.

Google Earth is not that accurate. Also, how would anyone be able to tell what the darn building looks like from the top anyway. Get a grip and move on.

The message is pretty easy to get.
I used to spend $7,000 to $10,000 per month advertising with the Daily Times Gannett Eastern Shore Group until....
They told me they could not deliver the "level of service" we expected which was...
Proof sheets of any ad to be run simply that we approve the copy, dates & times were correct...
AND TEAR SHEETS.
In the old building they could not deliver tear sheets as proof of publication for over a year because the person who did that "has a substance abuse problem" meaning they could not find someone to replace the ink sniffing crackhead.
Turning down a customer who spends $50,000.00 to $70,000.00 a year just because they want to approve the work after delivering 100% of ads with a minimum of 5 to 7 errors for three months..... and refused to provide proof of publication because that would show the errors.
