ugh. for christ sakes, delete this thread and the other one about him. just ignore his ignorant ass. its bad enough some of the shit that gets posted on here, without comments razed by that idiot to make the rest of you look like morons.

Maybe you should start asking the forum mods to pull his ip and ban it. You cant just disable his username, because someone like him will make another one to go with the many he already has.

A lot of you know some of the mods personally. Ask them to plese have his ip put on the banlist.

This is the most childiest thing i have ever heard, Fighting! What a idiot. You are the kind that give the fire dept a bad name.

This is scary. As a family in the Salisbury Fire area I have some serious concerns about where my tax dollars are going. This mob is no different than the Klan. They are very threatening and discriminatory.

Has the Mayor's Office or the Attorney General investigated the Salisbury Fire Department yet? Does anyone know if anything is being done in the Fire Department about this? I seriously think it is time for the Mayor of Salisbury and the so called leadership in the Salibury Fire Department to step down?

whoever wrote "this is scary"

what?????????

maybe you got to read what is going on how joe is dogging everyone and being ignorant toward everybody just because he want to be a wboc or wmdt

it has nothing to do with the fire dept or your "tax dollars"

no another thing about no difference with mob and klan grow up and get a life

Must be another illiterate fireman defending his position! Most of us have a life, but it is apparent the members of city fire department doesn't.

If you don't think these threats are a scary, then you are part of a Klan. You people are the ones reading his blog and posting threats on here and the watch desk. If you weren't a threat to society you would just ignore Mr. Albero and move on. You people are dangerous and a real threat to society.

On second thought I trust the Klan, but I don't trust the members of the Salisbury Fire Department. You people are nothing but local terrorists. You need to get a life.

JOE CAN YOU POST THIS FOR ME ???

I would like to say to teacherlady and to everyone else. Why the hell are you still on the topic SFD has no intelligence. Like a previous post everything we do we have to train for. Everything we want in the FD is training. We go thru all kinds of shit. Than when we are put out on the road in an ambulance or in a fire truck we make critical life THREATENING decisions,

so let me ask you teacherlady do you have to make them no. JOE do you have to NO.

You guys wake up in the morning saying i am going to teach my class with a dress on today or I am going to wear a skirt.

While you are in your class you hear sirens pass by

and you might think mmmmm..

what is that

So us FIREMAN go are on that engine hearing fire thru a roof

ME personally thinks you know i am on this truck and i have to go and search for bodies and get everyone one else out while we are going in

ME personally everyday i step foot on an engine i wear a uniform told to me i wear the uniform with pride honor dignity

I am a salibury fireman emt-b
a VOLUNTEER

maybe i dont use proper grammar or english but you know what that does not STOP anyone of you calling us out when your family is in danger you got in accident or you burnt something on your stove or your child is lifeless

I had many kids die in my hands and bring them back or do my best i went to many fires many wrecks

so next them when you need to call 911 PLEASE remember WE WILL BE THERE AND WE WILL DO OUR JOB AS TRAINED

i will be there and do my job

everyday as a fireman when i go to the station i thank god that i can help someone else

I thank god i can be someone else hero or whatever you call it

The only thing i ask in return for my VOLUNTEER DUTY is a little RESPECT !!!!!!!!!!!!

No matter what i do my job till the day i die

Me personally again
here is what i think waking up 3am in morning leaving my house when i have to go work a 12 hour shift next day starting at 8am in baltimore

leaving my wife and kids home fast asleep

when i hear house fire I WISH TO GOD THAT I RETURN SAFELY WITHOUT HARM WISH TO GOD THAT MY FELLOW BROTHERS AND SISTERS GOING INTO THIS FIRE GETS OUT

I BELIEVE IN EVERYONE GOES HOME NOT ONE BUT EVERYBODY GETS OUT ALIVE WITH OUT HARM

SO PLEASE NEXT TIME YOU TELL US WE ARE UNEDUCATED I WANT YOU TO THINK

OF US WHO SOME OF US WONT ALWAYS COME OUT THE SAME AS

WE RAN IN !!!!!!!

SO THATS ALL I WANT TO SAY SORRY

FOR MY BAD GRAMMAR HAPPY THANKSGIVING

To Jon G.,

Please know that I am one of those who respects the firefighters and what they give and risk.

I have only one problem with your post. It was not necessary to downgrade teacherlady's profession. I don't even see her commenting on this post.

Teachers are entrusted with kids lives every day, and they have much more significant decisions to make than what to wear. Some days are about trying to decide if a kid has a weapon or is high and how to deal with it. I've known teachers who had to fend off bodily attacks from kids or physically break up fights. You should see some of the sad cases kids are as young as kindergarten.

And on the days they don't have emergencies, they help children cope with hundreds of little decisions that lead them to grow up with the life skills to survive, be better people, etc.

Teachers are taken for granted, but where would any of us be today without them?

So, Jon G., my hat is off to you and other volunteers and those who get paid to do what you do. But my hat is also off to teachers, and frankly, to everybody who puts in an honest day's work and makes life better for all of us. And FYI, I'm not a teacher, but I know the difference they've made in my life, my kids' lives and many others' lives.

It's Thanksgiving. Please let's remember what that means.

well hey,

on another post she did downgrade us and told us we are this and that but you know

yes you are right teachers do hell of alot more than what we give them credit for

and i will say thanks for teachers also but i just wanted to give my opinion and

you are right happy thanksgiving and have a safe and happy day

Jon G,

I respect what the Firefighters do every day. I have never said that I don't. What I do have a "problem" with is the fact that your "stream of conciousness" posting style makes your opinion hard to understand.

I know that you all go to many trainings and you go into the local schools and teach kids fire prevention, and go into homes and check and give out fire detectors. You may even give out carbon monoxide detectors, I don't know. But what I do know and cannot respect is someone that has education but no smarts. I know you all get angry and it just spills all out, and that is understandable. But as I have said before, by not using some semblance of proper grammar and decent spelling, you lose credibility. If you want to be seen as serious, then present yourself to the best of your abilities.

I don't think that your points are necessarily invalid, but I take issue with the fact that some of your "brothers" come on here and say that they won't come to some people's houses because they criticize the actions of a few.

Jon, I respect what you have to say. I don't respect that you disrespected my profession. I have never disrespected anything that you all do. On the other hand, some of your "brothers" have gotten on here and attacked me, my profession, and even my abilities as a teacher. I would be saying the same things if it was the FFD, PFD, HFD, BFD, OCFD, SPD, FPD, WCSO, State Police, DPD, or any other organization.

My advice is for you to talk to your "brothers" and make them understand what I and others that share my opinion have to say. I don't think it is everyone in the SFD, just a few Assholes that make you all look like Assholes.

All that said, Jon, have a wonderful Thanksgiving, and I hope YOU get through it without having to go on a call because some fool didn't read the directions on the turkey fryer. Enjoy some extra pie for me.

"Than when we are put out on the road in an ambulance or in a fire truck we make critical life THREATENING decisions,"

So Mr. Volunteer Fire Man, what are the critical life Threatening decisions you have to make? Does this mean that you are doing surgery or performing a procedure that means the difference between life and death? What is that procedure and when was the last time you performed it?

"So us FIREMAN go are on that engine hearing fire thru a roof"

When was the last time you hear fire thru the roof? Does this happen every day? What is the actual percentage of real fires does the fire department have and how many do YOU go on?

"i have to go and search for bodies and get everyone one else out"

So Mr. Volunteer Fire Man when was the last time you searched for a body? When was the last time YOU actually brought out a body? When was the last time the Salisbury Fire Department brought out a body?

"I am a salibury fireman emt-b
a VOLUNTEER"

What exactly is a fireman emt-b and what life saving procedures do YOU do that are critical?

"I had many kids die in my hands and bring them back"

So Mr. Volunteer fire man tell me exactly how many kids YOU had die in your hands? Tell me exactly how many YOU brought back???? Tell me the last time a child died in a house fire?

Boy Mr. Volunteer fire man you must really be a big hero. Sounds like you saved a lot of lives and saved a lot of houses from burning down. Man there must be a lot of fires going on every single day in this city. I am wondering where you found the time to blast Joe on his blog. Are you posting at the fire station in between emergency calls?

I do want to thank you for taking the time to volunteer your service, but you should at least be honest with yourself and quit telling all these lies. You must watch to much TV. I bet you have sever VCR's of Backdraft? I bet your favorite TV show is Rescue ME? Is that where you get the idea of saving all these babies??? Sounds to me like you are in Fantasyland.

I would tell you to thank a teacher, but you obviously missed school because you were volunteering. You should go back and get your GED.

Happy Thanksgiving to you as well.

I come from a family that are volunteer and one paid. My son is a Volunteer. It sick to my stomach to hear people bad mouthing the Fire Dept. They risk there lives everyday. They leave there children and wives behind. Most of them wont come home. I watched many fireman fall off the truck answering your false alarms. What if your house is on fire your life in danger and it is in the middle of night and what if the fireman said oh well, What if your son is trapped in a vehicle and they dont show. I give all the fireman respect for what they do. I hope to god that people will do the same because they risk there lives for us. Dont bad mouth them or the police give them respect as well as we give you respect.

Respectfully yours,

ANDY

Well

let me tell you couple things

LET ME START WITH

"how many times we searched for a body"

well asshole everytime you ride the truck that is one of your resposbilities when of the duties you must do ASSHOLE

also on a truck you have to throw ladders go on the roof vent, control utilites

it shows you dont have a clue with firman do and so many different jobs we have

such as ambulance, engine, truck, rescue, squad, brush,

go to sfd.com and look at the stats your self.

go to fithp.net

look at the fires we go to, there photographed.

if you knew me i had one of the top 5 percentages at my station as a volunteer

and i am not saying i am a hero,
have you ever had an infant die in your arms????

have you had a 2 year old girl on rt. 50 tilghman rd
die from a brain bleed.

do you respond to houses and answer medical alarms

do you know the difference
between als and bls
and emt-b or crt-I or emt-p

come on tough guy let me see you do this

i got my high school diploma and have college

First of all,I lost a dear cousin in the line of duty-he was killed in an accident answering a fire alarm 11 yrs ago-so I DO respect what firefighters, volunteer or paid,do.What I do not respect is the implied threat that if Joe ever needs their help they will not respond. They have a duty to be impartial and go where they are needed-if they dont like it they should just quit.

joe albero said...

I lost a Cousin in the World Trade Center on 9-11. He's gone and sacrificed his life in the name of the United States of America.

Don't feed me all this HERO BULLSHIT that you Fire Fighters want to label yourselves with. Get over yourselves and stop pissing me off with your crybaby bullshit!

Gary Albero is a HERO. NOT you SOB's that claim you'd rather watch me burn in a dumpster!

By the way Ladies & Gentlemen, BIG NEWS coming tomorrow morning on the Fire Department once again. BIG NEWS!

LadyLibertarian said...

No problem, and I appreciate your comments. Now, when you say you only have a few minutes here and there, it makes more sense. You are a fine example of someone who wants to engage in effective dialouge. Now, if you would watch the cursing... ;)

Word of advice to all the members of the Salisbury Fire Dept. posting on this site stop while your ahead. Make these threats and acting like children do not make the department look good at all. It is actually a shame that the actions a small few ruins the reputation of the rest of the department. Most of the people posting on this site are volunteers who are not that active or just mark up at the firehouse. For those of us who do the job for living those small few are making our jobs that much harder. I am not saying that all volunteers our posting on here making threats bt, just a small few. I am a career firefighter with this city and do not approve of this little war going on. Everyone needs to just grow and stop the games.

Thanks

Jon Gerity you need to shut your mouth because you are no firefighter at all. I haven't seen you on any fireground in a long time and even then you were not in the initail units on the scene. The only thing you may have done is overhauled the fire room or racked the hose. As far as your ems skills riding aprivate ambulance doing the geriatric shuffle does not couunt. Also you were out on medical leave for most of the year. From what I hear you need to take a psych exam due to your suicidal thoughts and drug seeking for the pain. So before you run your mouth about this department and how your such a big bad fireman think first.

Anonymous said...

well here is what i want you to do whoever post this i signed my name so i guess i already am better of a man than you

i am much better than you because i got nothing to hide

so who are you since you know me...

trust me i will get it out sooner or later people will brag and go on i told him off

if you have real problems with me than come to me

obvious someone told you something to you, you want to bash me fine

are you paid ?????
reasons why is it because you dont want to lose your job it wont get that far i just want to know your name that is all

we can talk

are you volunteer?????? reason why are you mad because i do alot more than you at the fire house

check my stats how many fire calls i been on "working fires"
one of the first trucks or second engine in

check your resources i been out since july was my wreck

why you dogging me????

i never went against the department in anyway ever

why since i am injured and i cant go to the calls you bash me

at least i am explaining what we go thru and sticking up for the firehouse

so come on you are some kind of fireman in my book not a loyal one

second why cant we take care of this in closed room and talk internal remember?????

not on a computer hiding behind a screen name.....

i know you can access my phone number and new address on fire house computer

so get a hold of me and we can talk ok

but i wont hear nothing more about this because you are not a man

and you are a sad excuse for a fireman or firewoman or a coward

i will be at the fire house tomorrow in the morning so call me and we can talk or maybe you are on shift tomorrow

but hey you know me why dont you show who you are

the ball is in your court ....

I agree-"Hero" is thrown around alot-the most heroic are those who dont even consider themselves heroes. My cousin signed up on his 16th birthday to volunteer and rose through the ranks quickly in his short life-he also worked as a Emergency dispatcher when he wasnt volunteering for the FD-heres a link if anyone wants to read more about him-he was a great guy and we miss him so much everyday in my family

You couldn't be more right! Those of us who do the job because we love the job don't even want to be called heroes, we're just doing what we love to do. However, more and more people join the fire department because they want the "title." When it comes right down to it, most of these "titled" firefighters don't do a damn thing except come on here and stir the pot or TRY to defend themselves.

I will also agree that some of those posting on here have no concept of grammar. Do yourselves a favor, proof read your posts so that we do not need and interpreter to decifer them. That is all. Have a safe weekend and try to avoid the mobs of "crazies" at the malls and such! :)

so where's this big news we're supposed to get today?

Anonymous said...

"Firemen are going to get killed. When they join the department they face that fact. When a man becomes a fireman his greatest act of bravery has been accomplished. What he does after that is all in the line of work. They were not thinking of getting killed when they went where death lurked. They went there to put the fire out, and got killed. Firemen do not regard themselves as heroes because they do what the business requires."

It saddens me to see people on here who claim to be firemen and EMT personnel acting so childish and writing with such poor spelling, poor grammar and spouting such childish, infantile threats and antagonisms. Unfortunately your asinine ravings are besmirching the whole department that you are professing to be so proud of and tarnishing the reputation of all the members affiliated with that department. Your exaggeration of your deeds and accomplishments only serves to make one question your suitability to remain a member in good standing.
Shame on you!!!
