The Salisbury Police Department Shuts Down Press Releases?

As you can see, the SPD has stopped posting any more Press Releases On Line. I had listened to Officers from the SPD & WCSO hoping I could produce positive information about the SPD. It shouldn't be all about the WCSO and I agree. I found their on line source as a way to promote such positive information but it's become very obvious that Chiefy has pulled the plug on my getting my hands on ANYTHING.

Perhaps pressure from this Post will encourage them to get back on the ball and offer the public the opportunity to see what they're doing on a regular basis once again?

Joe: Come on, you know "super-cop" should be all over the press releases! With all he's doing to save the community!

My question/concern is this--Why wouldn'd Chiefy and Co. WANT the good citizenry to know all the wonderful things that are being done to protect them? I would think that because so many people read this and other blogs, Chiefy would WANT you all to know. Maybe if he had more transparency in his department, maybe "that SOB Joe Albero" would get off his case.

Just a thought.

Anonymous at 929: do you really want to know how many of the arrests on this sight he actually made? Or how many weren't even posted?
