Horror & Vandalism On Pennsylvania Ave. In Salisbury!

If you live on Pennsylvania Ave. in the City of Salisbury, I feel for you! What you're NOT seeing anywhere else is the fact that almost every single vehicle along Pennsylvania Ave had their tires slashed. One owner has a convertible Porsche had his roof cut to bits as well. Trailer tires were slashed and items were even thrown through windows along this road.

I'm hoping to provide photos later today, we'll see what happens? Nevertheless, crime is just out of control in Salisbury Ladies & Gentlemen. I mean, think about it. Graffiti Artists vandalized buildings for MONTHS and no one was caught.

In Delmar, if my dogs don't get you, well................

Yea SPD hard at work...you'd probably find most of them at Break Time or Brew River attempting to wreck homes or secretly calling and texting other mens wives.

SPD is useless. The other day I was driving when the car in front of me suddenly made a complete U-turn over 4 lanes of traffic. A Salisbury police car was travelling behind that driver. When we pulled up to the traffic light, I rolled down my window and asked the SPD officer why he didn't go after that guy. His exact words to me as he shrugged his shoulders were: "There's no sign saying he can't do that"....

Unbelievable.

state police are the same way. I was North on 13 at the light by South Blvd. State trooper sitting there and a car ran the red light. Trooper made a left when the light turned green.

I did watch another trooper pull a car for running a red light. So they arent all bad.

Please don't accuse Salisbury Police of being home "wreckers" and what not. We have some bad apples not mentioning any names Chad. But thats something everyone has in a department. We try out best as do the other agencies in the county.

Well whoever Chad is, he is not the only one. That's for sure!

Wow I live on the other side of Riverside. So thankful you have reported this. There are alot of break ins & crazy things that happen on this side of town. I never hear of the media reporting these kind of things, usually its just my friendly neighbors that happen to know some police that tell me about it. Keep us posted.

anonymous at 1025: I feel you immensly. But seeing the attacks on the SPD officer I think you are only putting yourself out there for criticism. It's perfectly fine for a Deputy to do this type of thing, and in the meanwhile attempt to damage a hardworking officers career. But now the tides have recently turned on a Deputy and all things change. According to someone I trust the Deputy involved is in fact a GREAT asset to the department and NEVER deserved what was done to him or his family just like NY.
I hope justice is served because the thin blue line just got even thinner.
And another officer calling New York a psycho? If that were true the WCSO would have had a funeral to attend to two years ago. Many, many men in the same situation would have acted much differently. And knowing NY I think a beating would have been inevitable if he did not believe in his job.

The fact is married people cheat, wrong enough, but when the other person's spouse and children are involved there should be some consequences. To put your own family on the line is horrible. But, to wreck someone elses family is a damn tragedy Burley, no names mentioned. You backed him up and shook his hand. He trusted you and thought you were his friend and brother. I will mention how he was left hanging by his own when he needed them most. I do not blame him for being angry.

And to you "sir peel" I am not NY, or his wife. Please respond back, I would like to explain the man NY is. And I have been in law enforcement much longer than you no doubt. So I dare you to challenge me. You are not deserving to even walk in his shadow. I will give you stories that you could never write or even understand.

Having been one of the victims of these senseless crimes, I can assure you the police gave me no reassurance of security or that they would do anything to track down the thugs that vandalized my automobiles and broke through historic windows in my home. I will take it upon myself to insure my family is safe by whatever means are necessary and hope as a community we can rally together to get the police to become more proactive and actually care about our neighborhoods. Dec.10th is the next city council meeting at 6:00 and I urge all concerned citizens to attend and demand action from our cheif of police in dealing with the rising crime rate or to resign!!! If he doesn't want to take action I'm sure our city can find someone who does.

Resign, Chief--you have done enough damage to our City. And Barrie has aided and abetted you all the way. Resign and be gone.

anon 329 ur a freaking idoit. What do you know of SPD. These officers work their tails off day in and day out and all they get is bad mouthed by people like you who could not do their job. On a good night they have 7 officers working the entire city. You tell me how you want these 7 officers to be everywhere at once. Instead of bad mouthing these officers why don't you do something to help them like starting a neighborhood watch that would assist the officers and the community you live in. How bout you signing up to do a ride along with these officers to see what they do night in and nigh out. Until u step up and try to help you have no right to bad mouth these officers who are out there each day and night while you sit in front of your TV enjoying the safety they provide for you. I challange all of you to step up and start helping, the police can not do it by themselves.

Seriously, if you didn't report these incidents on your blog no one not directly affected would even know, even thought we live in this area. Does WBOC or WMDT report these things? We KNOW that the Daily Rag won't.

For the taxes we pay I think more than 7 police could be funded if funds weren't disappearing!!!!Where is our money going?!

Anon 11:03, supposedly SPD...I could sit here for hours and list all the rumors (most of which turn out to be factual) I hear of officers cheating. Bottom line is it is in every department. The saddest part is that it all begins with the brass, they cheat, get away with it and it slowly trickles down the line. It has become so common, unfortunately it is in every divorce statistic you find.
The problem is not only the actual act of cheating, its who they are cheating with (fellow officers families), and the lack of any punishment. I have seen people actually write on here that no act should be taken against these cheaters in uniform...thats crazy, In most job positions it is against policy. I am just a secretary and if I slept with a co-workers spouse or a co-worker I could expect to be fired its a moral issue.
Unfortunately it goes from cheaters to child abusers and rapists. When you get away with something its only natural to continue to push the envelope. These men and women are expected to uphold the law, and these are the reasons they feel they are above the law.
Again, I am not saying every officer is bad and immoral but its all too common!
To the brass...start sweatin these things and you may find less criminal activity in your departments.

The Sh** always runs downhill. This city administration as compromised public safety for Mo' Money, and giving away our future to out of down developers.

Chesapeake Ventures should really be happy the developer pulled out, now they can make all that money themselves hawking homes that won't sell BAAAAAHahaha Ouch they did get $14 million from the generous higher archy.

Tax hikes for the citizens, tax breaks to low wage paying companies encouraging unskilled and uneducated people to take over the area.

What did Walgreen's $350,000 in tax breaks do? Caused Giant Drugs to close up as soon as they got wind of it. Now Rite Aid is closing to move into the Eckert's building and Eckert's is folding.

Walgreens has caused just as many if not more job loses than the jobs they provide. So why did they get a tax break? Oh yeah the council majority, the three deaf mutes, even when they speak nothing relevant comes out~!
