Many of you may have read the article in this morning’s paper wherein I was charged with DUI.
I apologize to my wife, mother and family, to my friends, and to the citizens of Princess Anne; and to my colleagues on the Commission. I also apologize to the Mayor and citizens of Salisbury.
I have no excuse, and there can be no excuse.
This was poor judgment on my behalf, and I accept full responsibility for that poor judgment. I recognize the damage this has done to those people who count on me, as a husband and father, as an employer in the retail world, and as a leader in the community. I recognize the embarrassment this has caused the entire Town. This hurts me much more than you can imagine.
I do not blame the trooper. She was only doing her job. She treated me fairly and with respect. She was very professional and I am sorry for my poor judgment which put her in this position.
The remorse that I feel goes beyond the difficult consequences and I respect the system that will ultimately judge my actions
We have worked hard, as a Commission, to improve the quality of life in our community, and I sincerely hope that this misjudgment will not reflect on all those accomplishments or on my colleagues.

What an idiot! This guy just pled guilty. I thought he was smarter than that.
It is his first. So he will get a slap on the wrist- PBJ.
Now he should run for President. He and George both have a DUI!
Would you have rather he lied or made excuses? He admitted he was wrong. He apologized. He's planning to face the music now. I find his statement sincere and a breath of fresh air.
Didn't former zoo director Jim Rapp piss on a car windshield admittedly intoxicated and then say he thought it was a good idea at the time?
After he allegedly defrosted the windshield, admitting he was guilty of being intoxicated, he drive off with co workers in the vehicle intoxicated?
The way I see it, he admitted to being intoxicated. He admitted to driving intoxicated with his employees in the vehicle. Then he stated he thought it was a good idea at the time.
Mr. White seems to be speaking from his heart and even being in the position that he is in, he didn't come back and say it was a good idea at the time.
Rapp never learned his lesson as he received a DUI after this incident. The State Police thought it was a good idea at the time too.
Joe jumps right to the ZOO. Jim is gone Joe. Get over it. I am surprised you didn't bring up John Robinson's DWI! Anything to divert attention from your buddies getting in trouble.
Robinson got a DWI? OOOH, OOOH, tell me more! LMAO!
I want to see the sports caster photo again when see got arrestt. Ive only seen it 5 times now.
Unlike Dicky Dumptruck down in Somerset county he admitted he was wrong and will suffer the consequences.
Here's another thought.
At least the charging documents showed the actual true County the man lives in, unlike some other Public Officials we know locally.

What position? She was doing her job and doing it well if your intoxicated self was taken off the street. At least you didn't kill anyone. The trooper should be in no position, nor should she feel any remorse for what she did, just because your a public official, it doesn't put you above the law. You should be sorry for your poor judgement, but don't hold anything against the trooper that would put her in a "position", she did the right thing.
I would love to be a fly on the wall when your wife gets home and you explain this to her.
Who said anything about Frank's Wife being away?
Well considering everyone down here in PA knows everything about everyone, its just common knowledge. He had to explain that to her when she got back on Monday.

I personally feel Frank's mea culpa is sincere and heartfelt. I think the "position" to which he is referring is the one where the trooper is between her duty to the citizenry and the "heat" she will feel when it is found out she busted a prominent citizen.
As Joe said, the difference between him and Jimn Rapp is that Frank never said it was a good idea to drive drunk, where Jim apparently did.
Joe is not "bashing" the zoo, he is simply pointing out the differences in the reactions of two rather prominent citizens.
What about all of the other times that White has driven drunk? Joe, seriously, I know you are friends with Frank and that is understandable. What's not understandable is his feeling of remorse. Would he be remorseful had he not gotten caught? That's what I'd like to know.

Frank White prominent?????
This man has done some shady stuff for a long, long time. The bones he's got rolling around in his closet from his Pocomoke days would astound you. Just because a person has a "prominent" position/job does not mean he is a good man. Naturally, he is sorry. He's a freaking politician! This is just first time that he's been caught. Hopefully, he learn from his mistake and move on to Salisbury. He's made it this far up Rt. 13, I guess he'll find his next wife in Wicomico Co.
Frank White is far from "prominent". He's a Town Commissioner in Princess Anne for chrisake. Far from the stepping stone to the State House or White House. He's a dirt bag from way back. He's nothing more than living proof that the voting public public in Princess Anne ranks right up there with the voting public in the Distict of Columbia.

Jealous of Frank White? Joe my good man, you are becoming delusional. You are usually on the mark but on this issue, you've lost it. White's dirty. Has been for a looooong time. It's well known around Princess Anne and Somerset County that the guy is a partier and if you're buying his remarks of being a remoresful drinker and driver, I've got a bridge to sell you in....well I think you know where it's at!
This guy was a real turd when he was chief of police in Pocomoke. true colors shining through.
