In a perfect world that candidate would be Debbie Campbell.
Some of us are secretly trying to draft Susan Seidel Tilghman to run for Mayor. How funny would it be to have a good Tilghman run against a bad Tilghman and they're both women? Seriously, Susan is an experienced attorney, was born and raised here, knows everything there is to know about everyone in this town, and is so smart and quick it would make your head spin. She just laughs when we mention running for Mayor. Can we start a campaign to draft her?
So Joe, if CJ lived inside the city cimits, would it be okay then. I mean yuo were one of his biggest supporters in the Exec. race, wouldn't you support him for Mayor?
If not. Why not? If he was good enough to be County Executive, then he shuold be good enough to be Mayor.
She would probably clobber me if I publicly tried to draft her for Mayor, but I agree, imagine a Mayor who is honest, decent, has endless integrity and actually knows what is going on and doesn't need the "rent an opinion" of Mr. Wilbur. She's also proven herself and her devotion to this community. We can dream!
