It's Only A Hunch, But..........

I sat there last night watching Barrie Tilghman bite off anything she had left for nails and then she started gnawing on the skin around her nails, (seriously). There was more on the line last night with Sassafras Meadows then meets the eye Folks. That's just my opinion but she was EXTREMELY desperate.

Making three visits to Gary Comegys and coaching him along, yep, I smell a rat! Could the Mayor have a financial interest in Sassafras as well as Dunn?

As Flip Wilson Always Said, "The Devil Made Me Do It."

Mike Dunn Is A Liar And An Idiot!

Last Night Debbie Campbell was placed in a very awkward position of explaining the difference between a lie and or calling someone a liar. She expressed how the documents were a lie and she was not calling anyone a liar.

That being said, I'm calling Mike Dunn a liar. Last night he made a statement, a citizen confronted him head on about the statement he made and Mike immediately went into denial about it.

OK Mike, here it is once again. There's a huge difference between the Daily Times and other News Sources as they cannot seem to deliver living proof such as what Salisbury News cane deliver.

So might I suggest to ALL of you from here on out, you better be damn careful about what you have to say any more because we're going to prove the lies. Once again, view it here.

I Am Personally Posting This For The Record

John Jacobs better start coming clean and he better do so in the VERY near future. I mentioned in last night's meeting that the City of Salisbury Public Works Department, (John Jacobs) keeps stating the City was at 85% capacity over the past couple of years and now they have somehow reduced that figure mysteriously down to 84%.

You cannot have all this growth in the past few years and still be at 84% or 85%. The citizens are on top of this matter and every time someone brings this up, the Council and City Staff refuse to answer to these figures. So, that being said, maybe it's time once again to let the MDE see for themselves that the City is still feeding the citizens a bunch of bull.

I have invited Dave Pushkar from the MDE to visit this exact post.

MINE! NO, MINE! NO, MINE! GIMME IT! NO, YOU GIMME IT!

Neither Mike Dunn nor Gary Comegys could agree as to who was going to be next in gaveling Debbie Campbell and or "The Dirty Dozen!"

Hey, does that gavel look a bit big to all of you?

Joe Albero, You're #1

Barrie Tilghman Is The Reason Mood Rings Went Out Of Business

Barrie Tilghman changes coats like she changes her moods. Yesterday during the day she was wearing her infamous red coat, (being worn more often in recent weeks) and then changed into her infamous yellow coat for good luck in her Monday evening meetings.

All I can say is, thank you Barrie. Covering up is a smart things to do and once again, thank God for the Blogs and photographs to keep these people in check.

The Wicomico County Sheriffs Department Gets 15 New Cruisers Yesterday!

No matter where you looked in the Sheriffs Department parking lot there was a brand new Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptor!

What was just as interesting to me was looking at the faces of the sheriff deputies when I arrived as they were former City of Salisbury Police Officers!

Hey Chief, ;-)

Isn't Life A Bitch Sometimes?

Build It And They Will Come!

OK, how can you top this one? Here's a mountain built in the center of Salisbury and here's a mountain climber desperately racing to be the very first to conquer the mountain. Yes Folks, Salisbury offers it all!

I'm A FOB And We Don't Give A Damn!

I couldn't believe my eyes yesterday when I actually watched the meter cop drive right past the van parked on the sidewalk and didn't even flinch! I stopped her and said, are you blind? Since when is it legal to park on the sidewalk? She gave me that LOOK and backed up and took care of business. However, this is ridiculous! Petty? Maybe. Illegal? Yes! Mind you, these vehicles were parked there for hours, not seconds.

Clear Channel Said, When Your Lease Is Up, Your Lease Is Up!

Chain Saw in hand, a worker from Clear Channel went to town yesterday on this huge billboard sign and cut the telephone poll beams and WHAM! That puppy came down in a big way!

Looks like these people knew ahead of time that this property was about to be annexed by the City and they weren't going to foot the extra bill for Westwood.

After This Violation Is Served With Legal Charges, Shanie Shields Will Certainly Have To File Bankruptcy Just Like Gary Comegys!

Ladies & Gentlemen,

This is NOT staged! These signs were still up yesterday and from what I know, (I may not be exactly correct) Shanie Shields owes the City some $12,500.00 in fines. I'm calculating around 500 days at $25.00 per day.

As for the rest of the Candidates, until they serve Shanie with her violations, keep your signs up!

UPDATE! My figures are NOT accurate. The fine should be, $37,500.00 rather than $12,500.00! The fine is per sign! Three signs, tripple the fine!

The Mayor Coaches Gary Comegys Three Times Last Night Against Debbie Campbell

Since Mike recused himself over Sassafras, Barrie Tilghman found herson over by Gary Comegys quite often last night.

If Gary missed a beat, the Mayor then jumped in and said her peace. So do tell me, does the Mayor have the right to coach the City Council?

Just look back at the Council Meeting from last night and see for yourself.

A Lady With A Lot Of TUDE!

While Debbie Campbell was speaking Shanie Shields looked over at the Mayor and said, "I don't give a damn what she says."

Shanie was in a tude mood last night as she made hand gestures and facial expressions towards Debbie Campbell all night. To read in the Newspaper it's all about the Dirty Dozen and then look at the entire Council and see just how childish they act, give me a break!

The Daily Times Reporter is sitting in the same room I am and she can see these exact same motions going on and then they have the nerve to print an article about concerned citizens simply speaking their peace in order to better their community?

Last night was living proof that 4 council members and one Mayor just can't act professional, period. It's not about certain people backing Debbie Campbell. It's about a few local Blog Sites speaking the truth and citizens learning more daily about what's really going on locally.

Right or wrong, Debbie Campbell is doing her job. The rest of the Council shoud respect her position on ALL matters and not make this a game of, "we'll shut you down if you're not on our team." Look you Idiots, if you're going to out vote her 4 - 1 anyway, why create all the drauma? It's all about attention for all of you! Grow up, act like adults and remember that there are groups out there now looking at all of you much more seriously. If you believe you are doing the right thing, make your decisions and move on.

Shanie, you looked like an Idiot last night!

Something You Didn't Know About!

Ladies & Gentlemen,

This is a place "everyone" should visit! It is located off Snow Hill Road and Shilol Street. They're only open Monday through Friday but once you see their inventory and prices you'll learn to adapt to their not being open on weekends.

You might want to also consider donating things from your home you no longer have need for. I was told by one of the Staff there that almost every developer and home improvement company is taking advantage of the inexpensive pricing. One friend told me she bought a dishwasher there, (almost new) for $10.00!

Make a trip there and take a look, you'll thank me later.

Why Take Your Trash To The Dump When You Can Just Dump It In The Stream Next To Pep Boys Like Everyone Else Does?

Kate Manizade Responds To Mr Jon Natelson’s Letter To The Editor

December 11, 2006
Editor, The Daily Times
One Times Square
115 E. Carroll Street
Salisbury, MD 21801

Dear Sir:

Mr Jon Natelson’s response to my LTE contained only one correct statement: his property has been under a BHZ Condemnation Order since July 2005, and under a Demolition Order since July 2006. He is being disingenuous by pointing out my error on the date of the standing Demolition Order, because he then doesn’t bother to clarify the situation.

After the Condemnation Order of 2005, his property has been the source of numerous nuisance calls to the Salisbury Fire and Police Departments, and has only recently been boarded up, providing minimal prevention of infestation by undesirables. There is no indication that he and Dzaman plan to have their eyesore down by the deadline of January 5, 2007. Again, I contend that no resident homeowner would have been granted the clemency that he and Michael Dzaman have received, and for them to require a TIF in order to demolish the property they have allowed to go blighted is to abuse the use of TIF laws.Kate Manizade

Poll Question

If you were on the City Council would you vote YES to annex Sassafras Meadows or NO to reject the annexation?
Yes
No

Poll Questions

Ladies & Gentlemen,

There have been comments made about polls on this Blog Site that have encouraged us to change things for the better. I encourage any one of you to attempt to vote for a second time on our poll and see what happens. You cannot vote twice on our polls unless you have a separate IP Address. Now, if you're that bored and you actually have access to an additional address, go for it.

There is a difference between "free" poll systems and ones that you pay for. The one that you pay for allows you to determine how often someone can vote throughout the year on any given poll. In our case we have set it up to only allow you to be able to respond once a year.

In the past we have had a couple of poll questions we forgot to set the meter on but we're getting the hang of things and our intentions are to have it set for once a year. I hope this allows everyone to understand that the results will be legitimate and accurate.

There's A Very Good Reason This Rope Is Blocking Off This Blacktop!

There's a retaining wall this parking lot sits up against that butts right up to a stream. Obviously the engineering of this parking lot was NOT approved by the City and there are a few sink holes already that could cause some pretty serious harm/damage if someone were to simply break the string holding up the flags attached.

It must be yet another FOB that can get away with no permits and or inspections and in the end this is what you get. Call me if you'd like to know where this parking lot is Barrie. Till then, I'll just watch it and see how long it takes to get even worse.

All Washed Up

I'm certain Mr. Alessi isn't aware of this campaign sign floating in the river. However, who's responsibility is it to clean it up?
