More Dog Handlers

There were local handlers, handlers from other Countries and handlers that were "well dressed" young children showing and earning respect from the Judges. No, this was not a Sunday outing, this is the way children should be raised. I'm not at all suggesting children shouldn't be raised in Church as well. I'm simply stating after other comments on the post below, this is an excellent environment for young people and animals.

Heck, you don't even see this kind of dress code at a City Council Meeting any more, so stop knocking it!

It Takes All Kinds!

The Talbot County Kennel Club held their Annual Dog Show in Easton this weekend and it has drawn an unbelievable turn out! This year we chose to bring a brand new dog for us into the arena and the results were just unbelievable! This was Renoir's very first Show and very first time into any ring anywhere and he took First Prize in his class, then Best of Winners and finally Best of Opposite Sex! YAHOO! Looks like we've got another Champion in the making! Do you think the Judge and Jennifer are happy? We know our Grandson is!

Naylor Mill Road RR X-ing

You know what cracked me up about this crossing? I'll bet I drive this route at least once a day. Each time I've traveled over these tracks the regular cars would try to do the speed limit trying to keep things flowing.

However, get behind a 4x4 vehicle and like pansies they slow down to a crawl and prance over the tracks like little girls pushing strollers loaded with loose eggs inside.

Even though a 4x4 vehicle is made to take such punishment these tough guys are too afraid to act like men and they need to realize that guys like me are cracking up laughing at those pansies. So ladies, if your family owns a 4x4 vehicle and you see your husband acting like a little girl and slowing everyone down because his little baby might get hurt, know you are the joke of the day. Oh, might I add, you never see a lady slowing down in 4x4 vehicles going over these tracks!

Getting back to the better point here. It's nice to see the County is finally recognizing that the automobile repairs on County Vehicles has gone through the roof because of these tracks and they're finally doing something about it. While you're at it, do something about the road behind Lowes!!!!! Mr. Sharma says it's NOT my road, it's the County's road! How about I go take pictures of that road today and show everyone just how bad it is?

Today's Grapevine Comments

Pet ordinance

I find it strange that anyone would want to limit the number of people occupying a house, but not the number of pets. Limiting the number of pets in an urban setting with houses so close to each other is a good idea. Just as a house can have too many people living in it, a house can also have too many animals. Are we getting hung up on the number or is it that people don't want the government telling them what they can do?

I think it is commendable that the police chief wants to work on the number of animals a person can own in the city. I'd like the Humane Society to take on limiting the number of people who can hang out on Priscilla Street by the pond. That would be a good trade-off.

OK PEOPLE,

Let's get this perfectly straight one last time. The 5 animal limit has always been on the books in Salisbury! The Chief was only a puppet for the Mayor as she was trying to pick on one family and her powers are next to nothing any more because of the Blog Sites destroying her. It was dropped because we exposed her game and before she came off looking like a complete mental case, she backed down and dropped the entire thing. It was stated before, all anyone had to do was look up how many families had a special permit for additional animals and it would expose who the Mayor was trying to screw, game over! Nevertheless, let this sink into your heads, there has always been a 5 animal limit in the City of Salisbury.

Now if I were sending in a message about the Zoo the Daily Times would consider it, possibly print it and then come back with a correction after my message. Something like, Jennifer Albero is suing the Salisbury Zoo and her father is Art Goetz. Obviously the Daily Times Staff is so brain dead that they allowed two more messages to be printed without correction because they want everyone to "think" the Chief wasn't doing anything wrong. Proof again that this Newspaper is absolutely run and controlled by the Mayor of Salisbury. Each comment should have clearly stated, this law of 5 animals per household has always been in effect in Salisbury. Joe Carmean and Greg Bassett are looking for cleansers that will take the brown off their noses, any suggestions?

Beam Me Up Scotty

I swear Officer, one minute there were'd three cows here'd, the sky opened up and some SOB raised it up and took it away and I ain't got no insurance for nutin like that.

Update:

I took this photo last night on my neighbors farm.

Special Delivery!

This plaque arrived today and this Husband couldn't be more proud.

Jennifer and her Sisters dropped everything they were doing and immediately took off for New Orleans and did everything they could to help wherever they could to make a positive difference.

Is there actually a single person out there that doesn't believe each and every animal at the Salisbury Zoo isn't missing her right now?

Did The Mayor Take Everyone Out For Happy Hour?

Here it is Friday afternoon, THANK GOD the tree stopped anyone and everyone from getting hurt! Just ahead is Rt. 50 and Lord only knows what could have happened. Oh well, the City is insured anyway. Time to relocate the Mayor's personal parking spot. Maybe a truckers runaway ramp with lots of sand?

Borrowed From Duvafiles

I found the following comment to be an extremely important one and felt it deserved its own post.

Since this has changed from the original Ordinance approved by the City Council, doesn't this PRD have to go through the same Public Hearing routine? How can P&Z approve anything when the original project is in litigation? You got two zoning classifications on the table and the P&Z has approved both. HMMMMM! Very interesting.Awful, awful funny that the P&Z wasn't allowed to discuss the Robertson PDD while it was in litigation but they could discuss this one.

Jennifer & I Enjoyed Many Unexpected Guests. These Are Black Crown Night Herons.

Duh, Where'd Da Water Go?

This was a very typical scene on Saturday, Sunday and Monday mornings on the Bay as many boaters thought they could concur the bay after several drinks at night and simply cruise home. NOT! This guy was flying so fast he rode completely up and onto the small island and hailed a rescue boat to get him off. We miss Ocean City like we miss Chigger Bites!

If you truly want to see the scope of this project, this image tells it all. Seriously though, I kept hearing them mention something about 30% green space. Can someone please show me where they are anywhere close to that figure? Looks to me like 80% blacktop space.

The City Of Salisbury Is A Scam!

If you're on the West side of the Government Building and you throw in 4 quarters into this meter you're only going to get 1 hour and NOT 2 hours!

If you park on Main Street and put in 4 quarters you'll get 2 hours. I hear there are places in the City you can only buy 1/2 hour on the meter.

The scam and illegal activity is the FACT that NONE of these meters tell you what you're going to get for your money and no matter what they'll accept your quarters and NOT give you the time you're paying for.

This is illegal and if they don't change it immediately and at least warn everyone what they're getting for their money, I'm going to personally sue the City for taking my money and not giving me the service I paid for. You might think this is petty but I can assure you this is costing everyone parking in these spots many thousands of dollars. They must post what you're paying for, period.

The Mayor Burns Rubber!

Barrie Tilghman popped her head in today's Planning & Zoning meeting, not expecting me to be right there waiting for that "You're #1" photo op.

You talk about someone b-lining it to their office! You could smell the rubber burning off her shoes and the second photo clearly shows she wasn't too happy about my being there.

You're #1 too Barrie. There must have been 20 people laughing their a_s off watching the Mayor run away. ;-)

If You Want To Learn Class & Elegance........

Linda Kent was first class today when she not only confronted the Old Mall Developers, she looked them right in the eyes and shared every one of her concerns. Wouldn't it be nice if the City Council, (excluding Debbie Campbell) and the Mayor could offer the same respect to the people paying their salaries and placing so much trust and faith in?

Planning & Zoning Meeting Today

The majority of people in today's meeting were there for the Old Mall Project. Although Paul Wilber even admitted that the project wouldn't work under the PRD Zoning yesterday in Court, they decided to go ahead with the project and take it to the next level.

The WWTP & Publics Works Department said they could add 6 new hook ups a day for the next few years and still not be over capacity. I personally find that hard to believe as well as several other people in awe at such a statement. Do note, John Jacobs was not present and did not make this statement.

The Developers brought out several letters from Citizens apparently stating they support the project but that was very quickly brought down by Terry Cohen stating these are the same people who are on the record stating they are not in support of this same project once they learned in detail what these Developers truly had in mind.

My big question is, where was Mike Dunn? Where were the 100 supporters of this project he so boldly told everyone he had? I didn't count a single resident of the City of Salisbury there in support of the project. That speaks for itself!

There are now going to be 16.17 units per acre and as we've seen the decline of promises towards Senior Housing in Sassafras, here we go again with this project. They had brought the project to the City offering 150 Senior houses and have now dropped that figure down to 100 homes.

One major question that was asked time and time again was, where's the lake? I thought you were going to build the lake first? "We just didn't want to commit to it, just in case." Just in case of what? Now they're on the record as stating they're NOT going to build the lake after all.

There were other concerns about the housing market being in a decline and the Developers didn't seem to have a single concern about that. They want to bring a Grocery Store into the project, even though the new filing for a PRD won't allow that much retail space, they believe they can ask and receive a special exception and exceed the legal limit as to this retail space. They originally wanted 298,000 sq. ft. of commercial office and retail but the PRD brings them all the way down to only 30,000 sq. ft. of retail space and they'll ask for an additional 100,000 sq. ft. of space for the Grocery Store.

Although the Old Mall does need a drastic change, keep an eye out for this property being flipped once this Developer gets what they want by the City. A perfect example would be something called Sassafras.

Wildlife Photo Of The Day

Why Are These People Smiling?

Could it be because I said, "CHEESE"? NO! It's because they should be smiling. Things went very well For this group as there really is no arguing the City and Council did not follow the law as it is written. Hence the Mall Group has already refiled their case as a PRD instead of the PDD originally filed and being argued here.

Let it be known however that Paul Wilber started out by stating that "this project will not qualify uner a PRD." Uh, Oh! Looks like Wilber may have just screwed the entire project up, depending on Judge Jackson's decision.

Today's Wildlife Picture

This baby Dove was another wild animal that seemed to trust me and allow me to get up nice and close and snap this picture. I had never seen one up close like this before.

Heck, who needs a Zoo when you can have all these wild animals at your finger tips?

How I'd Save The City Of Salisbury

In posts on Justice For All? and right here on my Blog Site, Iyeska brings up a very good point. If Barrie Tilghman is so crooked as well as Mike Dunn and others, why even try any more and or what can be done to stop it?

In my opinion there are three choices. Debbie Campbell, Davis Ruark and Charles Jannace. These are the three people that could in fact save the City of Salisbury and turn it back into the lifestyle so many of you chose in the first place.

Here's the question though? Can and will Debbie Campbell be able to afford to financially run for Mayor? IMO her regular job pays extremely well and provides a comfortable lifestyle she's earned and deserves. Big question, big toss up!

Then there's Davis Ruark. Look, this is an extremely honorable man who knows both sides as well as the fact that his Father used to be the former Mayor of Salisbury.

OK, here's a new one being thrown into the arena, Charles Jannace III, AKA Hadley from Justice For All? Today I enjoyed a very fine cigar at lunch time with Charles and to my great surprise the man said he might actually consider running for Mayor.

Some of his ideas were actually the best answers anyone has come up with in many years. We discussed turning the City over to the County, lowering taxes for everyone in the City Limits for starters. Creating one Fire Department and one Police Department. Talk about saving millions of dollars!

What really needs to be considered anyway is what's going to happen with the MDE and the WWTP. Dave Pushkar has admitted that the City is NOT cooperating with the MDE and is in fact stalling and not installing test wells that would prove the liner is in fact leaking and contaminating the river and soil below. The clean up will be in the multi millions of dollars and the City simply cannot afford it any more. There's a lot to discuss and consider but one thing I can assure you, Mayor Barrie Tilghman is through! Mike Dunn has seen his last term on the City Council.

You want things right in the City of Salisbury? You want to see changes for the better? Quit playing around any more and get these people out of Office! It's not a game any more Folks, things are getting serious in Salisbury and the favoritism towards developers has got to end. Barrie and Mike have made their small fortunes and once they are out of office the new powers to be can consider what lawsuits the City wants to take on with these people for illegal activities.

In the mean time, start asking these three people if they'll truly consider running for Mayor or for City Council! Start attending City Council Meetings and start telling these people how you truly feel. Prove to Mike Dunn he's full of crap when it comes to more than 100 people coming to him supporting the old mall project. Dunn wants to convince you that he's done nothing wrong with Sassafras. WRONG! He's a liar! VOTE Debbie Campbell, Davis Ruark or Charles Jannace III for Mayor. Try running up against these three Barrie!

I WANT ANSWERS!!!!!

WARNING! Before you go on, (for safety purposes only) please put on a pair of sunglasses as the high beams might make you go temporarily blind. By all means, do NOT click on the photo to enlarge the image. You have been WARNED.

So where were these two last night? The Citizens of Salisbury pay these two some serious money to ACT as if they're more involved in the City of Salisbury than anyone else, so where were they?

Could it be that Barrie couldn't find a decent bra, hence the photo to the above? Could it be that Mike Dunn was out receiving the Key Club to the City? Was there a ceremony we weren't aware of last night?

I was at the Council Work Session and there was no mention of Mike not being there. So do tell me folks, what exactly are you paying for with these two? In my opinion, these two are toast in the political arena any more. Oh, Mike, a Gentleman would have given up his jacket to a lady obviously too excited or cold. Just some food for thought.

Sam's Club

In all the years I have been shopping at Sam's Club here in Salisbury I have to admit that I have had very few bad experiences there. Granted, there are times I wished they had opened more lines but I consider myself a professional Sam's Club Shopper and I don't end up in there on days I know they're going to be blown away with customers.

Yesterday was a different story though. Much of my family are in Ocean City for the week learning what it's like to be real vacationers/tourons and having to foot a $4,000.00 a week rental bill for a small condo! Yeah, Jennifer and Joe now live in the country away from all that mess and no longer have the perfect place for everyone to visit.

Anyhow, getting back to my story. No one really wanted to head out to a restaurant last night so I stated I'd pick up a bunch of cooked chicken from Sam's Club on my way and they could get the rest. When I arrived at Sam's my worse fear happened, there were NO chickens on display! I did however notice there were some in the oven and the oven was shut down so I went over to the ringer in the meat department and rang the bell.

There were two gentlemen in the prep area and neither one seemed to hear the bell so I rang it again, nothing. The third time I held the button down and waited till someone looked out the window before I let go of the button. Finally one of these guys came to the counter and said, we're closed. I replied, there's chicken in the oven, I'd like 3 of them please. He said, "that's not my job, you'll have to get a manager." All with a severe attitude. I said, you know something PAL, you're a real nice guy.

I went over to the manager and explained what was going on and she immediately got on the phone with this same gentleman and you could clearly tell, he wasn't going to help no matter what! The next thing I knew the guy was walking off the job, he quit right there on the spot.

To make a long story short, I got my chicken but get this, it took more than 50 minutes of standing there before I ended up with them. There were at least 4 other families waiting there very patiently as well and no one could believe what was happening. Maybe you had to be there to completely understand but I had never seen so many people be so rude working at Sam's.

One of the ladies there said, they should give these to us as long as we've been waiting. For the heck of it I walked up to the manager once again and said, you do know we waited some 50 minutes just to get these chickens, right? She replied, yeah, I'm really sorry about that and walked away.

My question to all of you is, am I addicted to Sam's Club, because I know I'll be back? They could spit on me in the check out line and I think I'd have to swallow some pride and walk in the door the next day. Lord knows, they probably hawked up a good one on one of those chickens anyway. LOL

Sassafras

Hadley and Duvall are right Folks! Someone needs to get off their rear end and do something about this illegal activity in order to show the Mayor and others that enough is enough. It is very clear Mike Dunn and his Father have profited from this scam. Mike Dunn did NOT recuse himself in the beginning and should be physicaly thrown out of the Council like an old Western Movie. It is clear that the City and County Council have swept everything under the rug and IMO the County Council isn't too happy about this scam but it's possibly gone too far to look back now. Nevertheless, there are several of us that have broken the news. Several of us have proven there's a case and none of you have stepped up to the plate and done anything about it. Just another prime example of how adults are raising their children today and then blaming all their problems on the teachers. Shame on all of you!

Red Net Alert!

Yesterday at approximately 1:41 p.m., Sarah Dykstra, 42, of Seaford was jogging on Cedar Lane and turned right onto Rt. 20 where a SUV crossed the shoulder of the road and struck Dykstra and threw her some 90 feet.

I am saddened to tell you that Sarah passed away this morning due to injuries from the accident. Sarah was a Veterinarian in the Seaford area and was VERY well respected. God Speed Sarah.

Only In Jersey!

Once Upon A Time the only Gangs we had ever heard of were in New York and New Jersey. Now all you need is a road named Jersey Road and look what happens!

The first photo shows the van in normal condition but look what happens overnight. There are no Gangs in Salisbury! I remember seeing things like this on the Cross Bronx Expressway back in the early 1960's. Rent was $50.00 a month and that INCLUDED taxes. A mortgage payment was no more than $125.00 a month and taxes, they were next to unheard of back then.

Now we're paying how much for a home? How much for taxes? Oh PLEASE, do tell me Barrie Tilghman, tell me what makes someone want to live in what you and the other clowns have developed into Salisbury? Yeah, I just can't wait for the old mall project to get developed too!

You might also ask yourself why you purchase the Daily Times any more as well because all they'll deliver you is MANUFACTURED news, not reality news like this. This may be small stuff but when you look at the big picture, don't ever say we didn't forewarn you.
