A new large-scale study conducted by the Henry Ford Health System concluded that hydroxychloroquine, the anti-malaria drug touted by Trump as a potentially game-changing treatment for the coronavirus, successfully lowered mortality rates for hospitalized coronavirus patients. The results were published Thursday in the peer-reviewed International Journal of Infectious Diseases.
Just The News reported on its findings:
The study examined 2,541 patients who had been hospitalized in six hospitals between March 10 and May 2, 2020.
More than twenty-six percent (26.4%) of patients who did not receive hydroxychloroquine died.
But among those who received hydroxychloroquine, fewer than half that number — 13% — died.
More than 90% of the patients received hydroxychloroquine within 48 hours of admission to the hospital. Scientists say giving the drug early during illness may be a key to success.
The study also determined that there were no adverse effects on the heart, despite previous reports.
Will the mainstream media give this study the attention it deserves? I bet they won’t.

The MSM will only point to the negative aspects of the study.
Trump had neither symptoms nor a positive test result. He recommended taking the drug as a preventive and said he was doing that. There is no medical opinion that agrees with his opinion that the drug be used in that manner.

Actually you are wrong. I just read an article written by a Doctor who used to teach at Harvard for many years and now owns his own practice. He and a group of many other doctors from the west coast to the east coast have been communicating and sharing what is helping their patients. They have found using hydroxychloroquine with the z pac and zinc has worked amazing on patients. (It does not work well if a patient is to far gone) and these doctors actually recommended taking hydroxychloroquine before you even are exposed and it helps in their opinion (And it is around 100 bucks) The doctor wrote a letter to Trump and you can find it online. The doctor claims the medicine is safe and has been around for a long time and is used by many with lupus. Again. I try to read as much as I can. I try to talk to nurses, Doctors etc and try to find out what they think.
You have a short memory this was the first drug showing promise and frontline doctors we’re taking it for prevention. The media immediately was against because Trump touted its positive results now we find out the media lied again because bit works and always did

Again, Trump has not done anything to be vindicated of. Dr Trump never prescribed anything. Go Trump!
Here’s a thought let Trump come out and say don’t use it. The result will be amazing!
