A white supremacist who tortured and killed an Arkansas family-- including an 8-year-old girl-- was executed early Tuesday morning in Indiana.
Daniel Lewis Lee, 47, was injected with a lethal dose of pentobarbital at 8:07 a.m., just hours after the Supreme Court greenlighted the first federal execution to take placesince 2003.
The slayings happened in 1996 after Lee and an accomplice robbed and shot William Frederick Mueller, his wife Nancy Ann Mueller and his 8-year-old stepdaughter, Sarah Elizabeth Powell in Arkansas.
Mueller was a local gun dealer and the bodies of him and his family were discovered five months after they went missing, with plastic bags covering their heads and sealed with duct tape, dumped in the Illinois bayou.
Back and forth legal proceedings stalled the execution at the U.S. Penitentiary in Terre Haute, Indiana several times.

Well deserved execution to kill adults is bad enough but what's the reason behind an 8 yr old little girl getting such little time to enjoy life.
Not to justify but I’m pretty sure you know the reason .... she’s old enough to tell... that’s why..
Only bad part is it took the system 24 years to get rid of him.

I have no remorse for Lee. Some people are born to be no good from inception. The answer to " what's going on in their heads' is nothing. No loss to society in any way. Debt paid, case closed.

Is the next one executed "BLACK", since there are several non-white children shot and killed every day?
This appears to be a "racist" thing compared to the death row inmates are majority black.
