Wor. rises to 223 covid-19 cases; 124 in Berlin, OP

(June 5, 2020) Worcester County has reached 223 cases of coronavirus and 14 deaths, according to the Worcester County Health Department. This is an increase of 25 cases from last week.

The Maryland Department of Health indicates that all Worcester’s coronavirus-related deaths have been at the Berlin Nursing Home. One of the deaths is listed as “probable” because the individual was never tested. The county department said that most of the deaths have been women in their 80s.

The nursing home has recorded 27 staff cases and 64 resident cases, according to the state department.

There are 124 cases in the Berlin and Ocean Pines 21811 zip code, 17 cases in the Ocean City 21842 zip code, 25 in the Snow Hill 21863 zip code and 59 in the Pocomoke City 21851 zip code.

A zip code must have at least eight cases to be listed.

A total of 152 people have been released from public monitoring. Worcester has conducted 2,530 coronavirus tests.

and with OC open and most visitors coming down from NYC, NJ and PA I am waiting for the second wave. I know OC needs the money but I feel it will be at the expense of the entire rejoin.

There will be a second wave because of all the tourists

The tourists will be taking it home considering how people have acting here.

Also, these protester-criminal-rioters. New York numbers have spiked, not a coincidence despite what the moronic may says.

If we need to get it to have immunity then we need exposure. The idea was to slow cases down so the hospitals were not overwhelmed. We have done that so well, one covid section of our hospital has been closed and now treating cardiac patients. We have to allow these businesses to open. We can't let small business fail. If the workers at Lowes and Walmart don't have an outbreak by now then I think we are ok. Allow people to make the decision to go or not to go. If the numbers go back up badly, we can always deal with that when the time comes.

So, no big deal. Many of these were traffic and other deaths marked incorrectly, and the overall death rate for this year is below the usual.

Does anyone find it odd
that those dying are on Social security?
