UPDATE: Looters Murder Retired St. Louis Police Captain David Dorn at City Pawnshop – Then Loot the Store (VIDEO)

Retired St. Louis Police Captain David Dorn was murdered last night outside of Lee’s Pawn and Jewelry in North St. Louis City.

The looters then broke in the store and looted it not fearing.

David Dorn was 77-years-old when he was gunned down by looters.

A man who was shot and killed outside a north St. Louis pawn shop Tuesday morning was identified as retired St. Louis city police captain, according to the Ethical Society of Police.

The shooting happened outside the Lee’s Pawn and Jewelry shop on Dr. Martin Luther King Dr. near Sarah Avenue just before 2:30 a.m. Authorities tell Fox 2 that in addition to the murder the store was also looted.

“One of the people murdered last night was a retired St. Louis City Captain,” the ESOP tweeted Tuesday morning. “He was murdered by looters at a pawnshop. He was the type of brother that would’ve given his life to save them if he had to. Violence is not the answer, whether it’s a citizen or officer. RIP Captain!”

Police have not officially identified the retired police captain. The investigation is ongoing. More details will be posted as this story develops.

9:04 I would say you are a liar. Go and put your money where your mouth is then Go to social media and condemn this man's murder You people talk a good talk but never walk the walk. Yeah when does condemning police brutality turn into the murder of an innocent elderly black man. You people are gross. Anyone can count on one hand any real protests. The rest the asinine marching they get to doing is an attempt to intimidated. I now have sympathy for the cop involved in the floyd issue. It's act like they do because it may save your life. I get it now.

Someone please educate me on this? How does this help stop racism? Killing an innocent BLACK man doing his job?

9:07 ... Need not reply. You're ignorance on the subject is quite obvious!

It's doesn't 10:21. What it does do though is makes you realize that black lives do not matter. What matters to them is who does the murder They care about who does the killing then the victim That they don't value life shows to all that they are not equals. They are beneath the moral people of the country. If that is racism so be it. As soon as they act like civilize people who value all life then they will become equals
