Minneapolis City Council members pledged to disband the city's police force.
President Donald Trump on Monday sent a clear message during a White House roundtable with members of law enforcement: The police are doing a "fantastic" job.
"There won't be defunding, there won't be dismantling of our police and there is not going to be any disbanding of our police," he said at the afternoon event.
"We want to make sure we don't have any bad actors in there, and sometimes, you'll see some horrible things like we witnessed recently, but 99 -- I say 99.9, but let's go with 99% of them are great, great people, and they've done jobs that are record setting -- record setting," Trump said.

Who cares what he thinks, states regulate their own states. It's the entire point of having separation from the feds.
This is one of the many reasons I voted for Trump in 2016 and will do so again. He supports safety and knows it is the only way we can fight off riots, terrorism, murders, rapes and all the rest. We need to make changes in what the cops do in those situations and punish the violators on both sides.
He can simply send in troops there stupid 11:50.....he can declare Martial Law! State is then out of the picture! They would have zero to say!!

When a STATE threatens the peace and security of the NATION (other states) they must and will be dealt with.
States don't have carte blanche to do whatever the hell they want to. Ever notice it's from demoncrat states? That should tell you something.
