three words

pepper.spray.gel

20 bucks on amazon. Stuff is potent and while it won't solve all situations, its legal, hurts a lot, and has a uv dye in it.

The police, KNOWING the boardwalk is now fight central, STILL DO NO SHOW UP.

AFRAID.. Scared and cowering.

They ARE pretty tough, however. when it's 20 against one and the old lady was caught red-handed not wearing her seat belt.
And if you want to see REAL bad-ass, see how tough they can get when a lone teenager says something they don't like.
And for a night of non-stop O.C. police hard rocks, smoke a cigarette.

Beat people for 4 minutes? Wreck stores and hotels, gang-beating people?
Attack people with metal poles? WTF is Ocean City now except a replica of the prison yard at Rikers?

They just weren't aware of such things, but WOULD have sent their best and baddest cadre of 5'5" men who wish they were bigger.
Sissies and cowards.

Now, sign your name, bi***es.

And they wonder why they are treated so well by the cops.. Encounters are a give and take relationship. most likely they will come out well if people's intentions and attitudes are in the right place. obviously most of these single family homes do not raise children that know how to respect authority answer a simple question and go on your way. unless of course your criminal have something to hide and your attitude stinks your combative resistive and just have a bad attitude well what do you think's gonna happen! now what really scares me is what's going to happen going forward if this continues and they wonder why there's such organizations like the clan

How are these thugs one on one? Oh yeah, when outnumbered everyone is a racist.

Time for a 9 pm curfew on the boardwalk.

O.C. has one of the finest police departments around. I know they can’t be everywhere, but my few occasions down there police were all over the place. I don’t understand, maybe someone from the department could enlighten us or me. Thank you.

It’s so bad. I was afraid to get out of my car at 8pm to get gas in west ocean city. Just gross behavior. Saw about an 8 year old little girl twerking on the side of her parents car.

This morning there was a FB post stating this victim had died to to the injuries but of course nothing on the local news. Can anyone verify it?

We are only 3 weeks removed from Memorial Day weekend, without major $$$$ events from Mid March until Memorial Day weekend and truly not the restaurant/business $$$$$$ capacity needed for a resort town.

What do we have? Havoc, some business who may not open again, mainstay businesses closing on a Sunny warm Sunday because of unrulies and perceived lack of leadership in communication and action.

Another day in Ocean Chaos!

I never thought I would say it, but I have no desire to go to OC anymore!

BOC/MDT/RDE/Times/NOW - zippy on this or the individual not surviving.

They read social media and they read SBYNEWS (DELMARVA's NEWS LEADER). I suspect they are waiting for something official and "how" they will handle this from a media perspective.

No video visible. What happened?

Where's a phaser set on 'stun' when you need one?

Please stop with your response. These animals are taught at home to be disruptive. Their parents are animals. Their grandparents are animals. They are taught to DESTROY. It's not cops fault. It's not White's fault. It's the black communities fault. They all want reform.
REFORM YOURSELVES FIRST.

They have a curfew.

Maybe the mayor should rent some Philly cops for a week or two? Show the rent a cops how it's done.

McClain, I know you. You're a 5 foot maybe 7 pansie! Quit running your mouth and go join the police if you think you can do any better.

Northwest Woodsman: Your Scandinavians have gotten completely out of control. By pandering to them and continually giving in to their demands, they have become embolden and it will only get worse. The third world is gradually destroying our culture and civilization and it gets more frequent and more violent every day. This behavior is in their DNA and two hundred years of association can not erase thousands of years of evolution. It is going to get worse so prepare yourselves. It is obvious that the “authorities “ are not willing to stand up to them.

Our town has the hospitality capacity for 250,000 to almost 300,000 folks on a given weekend yet what it doesn't have is:

- leadership
- enough first responders (LEOs and emergency personnel)
- leadership
- large enough emergency facilities (jails, hospitals)
- leadership
- good exit strategy if called upon
- leadership

Although one could read that the underlying similarity in the list is LEADERSHIP - truth has now shown the City doesn't have enough responders or facilities to handle the amount of folks who visit. We just have been lucky for all so many years. The 2020 pandemic (fake or not) may have woke some up. It has crippled industry (jobs/businesses) brought to focus social matters and showing that nothing will ever get back to normal.

I have no answers just like most. There are not enough LEOs and that situation is being taken advantage of by unrulies lawbreakers - all on the back of our City.

Read an earlier take from our early bird replier that he's talked to other communities LEOs within 45 mins of Ocean Chaos and never have they been asked to come to OC to help. Definitely not a sound business move - yet we are here, after another weekend of Chaos and a death on video.

Indeed troubling times.

(only 4 days until TGIF, yet is that a good thing anymore Rickie Beerinhan?)

I was advised to use hornet & wasp spray because you can use it from a greater distance- 20 ft. The other sprays tend to need you to be much closer.

The cops look like kids on the boardwalk and the guys in yellow apparently are monitors of some sort. I was there during the day last week and it seemed fine. I'm glad I wasnt there at night. The way things are going these days, the cops are better off to wait and just clean up the carnige instead of ending up in jail themselves for defending themselves.

OC will do everything possible to keep that information out of the news. Simply putting dollars before lives; exactly what is being done at all levels of government these days.

Anonymous said...

The real problem is OC places money before safety and lives. As a result they downplay and hide the violent behavior that occurs. It’s not a lack of leadership but a leadership that values dollars over lives.

I absolutely guarantee you that Sunfest will go on even if 1000 ambulances are required to transport the CV19 victims to the available 150 or so hospital beds.
And OC will declare it successful as long as the dollar count exceeds the body count.

Police officers have no rights they should hand in badges and guns and let the know it alls take care of the problem

Breaks my heart. The mayor better start cleaning house this in unacceptable.
