Liberals finally support travel bans. No, not when the president uses his lawful power over foreign affairs and commerce to ban foreign nationals from dangerous countries, such as Iran or China, from immigrating here. Liberal governors are now illegally implementing travel bans on their own citizens from state to state. Welcome to the Articles of Confederation government, unless, of course, you’re a foreign national seeking entry to get on welfare. Then a court will defend your “right” to travel and immigrate to the U.S.
Truth be told, even when states were super-sovereigns, during time of the Articles of Confederation, they did not ban Americans from traveling from state to state, because that was recognized as a fundamental liberty interest that even King George didn’t try to stop. Even as states were free to regulate interstate commerce from 1776 to 1789, Art. IV of the Articles of Confederation unambiguously recognized the right of Americans to travel freely from state to state: “The free inhabitants of each of these states … shall be entitled to all privileges and immunities of free citizens in the several states; and the people of each state shall have free ingress and regress to and from any other state.”
But now, governors like “Lockdown Larry” Hogan of Maryland have illegally barred residents from traveling out of state. You heard that correctly. While these governors and some wayward federal judges opposed a travel ban on foreign nationals from terrorist countries or those who would become a public charge, when there is no right for foreigners to immigrate, they are now implementing a travel ban on their own countrymen.

okay I have totally been against the shutdown of businesses and other things that came about because of this but Hogan never ever barred residents from traveling out of state. The order was if you do travel out of state or come into the state from another you should quarantine for 14 days. Please there is enough to get on Hogan about that is truthful. WE need keep it honest and not go the route of the democrats who make things up and lie constantly We are better then they are and is something we must not ever forget so stooping to their level is not something we should ever do. Again we are not them. They are beneath us. We are the good the honest and the righteous. They are the worst of the worst the dregs of society
We started with modified American flags with a blue stripe, then the same with a red stripe, and now some are advocating we put blue lights in our windows. What ever happened to the concept that we are all equal Americans. If people want to fly a flag, try putting up a REAL American flag. To do otherwise IS racist.

No Governor can dictate to a County or City of what they must do. Look back to the riots of Baltimore. Lockdown Larry could not send the National guard in there because if would be an abuse and over stepping of powers. He could not until he was asked. He canNOT tell a town or city of what to do, he does not write law. That takes the House or Senate or Legislature. You lemmings should read more into what the Constitution says. Know your rights. I will Not stay locked down. Period. All have been lied to. This virus is not as deadly as they are leading you to believe. When you hear of a death, the first thing you should ask is ok what else was wrong with them. Did we all of a sudden have cures made for heart disease, cancer and other deadly ailments? Why have those numbers dropped drastically from last year and prior? Because all deaths are now being blamed on Covid 19. Get the hell beat out of you, don;t worry your death will be blamed on covid 19. you should question especially when hospitals get paid per patient and per death and per ventilater. Do your own homework and stop listening to the lies being spoon fed to you. Think for yourself. Stop following like sheep.
Hell yeah!!! THANK YOU! My poor wife's been hearing me whine about that for years!!! Even as Vet myself, its always drove me NUTS when the country places ANY profession on a "pedestal"! The
word "Hero" had been thrown around so much, it's become diluted. EVERY profession is honorable, EVERY profession important. NO profession makes a person any more honorable, or patriotic than another, but ever since 9/11 we've felt this need to coddle the whatervthe cause of the day profession is!
