Wednesday on ABC’s “The View,” former Georgia gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams (D) said presumptive Democratic nominee former Vice President Joe Biden should pick an African-American woman as a running mate because black women were “the strongest part of the Democratic Party.”
Co-host Sunny Hostin said, “You know, Stacey, this is something that is concerning to me because Biden has committed to a woman as vice president, but has stopped short of committing to a woman of color. How important is it do you think for Biden to make that commitment? Do you think that not choosing a woman of color, a black woman actually, is a slap in the face to the black female voters who are credited with really reviving his candidacy?”

Think about this scenario: Biden taps Abrams and gets elected; Biden can't recite the oath of office without a teleprompter so the Justice has to recite word by word; in 6 weeks Biden steps down due to health reasons and Abrams becomes POTUS; she is divorced so no first Bro; Abrams appoints Spike Lee, Samuel L. Jackson, LeBron James, Beyonce, Jussie Smollett, Al Sharpton, and Dennis Rodman to cabinet positions. Ugh, what a nightmare.

To all, it is HILARIOUS that you guys are upset by what she says. Yet look at every election, including Trump 2016 campaign. You hear the political pundits and politicians talking specifically about "snagging Pence to lock in the evangelical vote" or other candidates based solely on a demographic. But if that demographic is black, now we have an issue. lol
Sad reality is black voters vote for black candidates. This is why Joe Biden's VP will be black. Just look at Baltimore for verification or Somerset County for that matter where criminal and domestic abuser Lionel Frederick got hundreds of votes when he ran for Clerk of the Court from his prison cell.
