Maintaining a safe and reliable food supply is one of the most important concerns during the coronavirus pandemic. This includes making sure there’s enough food for Americans and that the food can get to American households.
The Food and Drug Administration explained that there are no nationwide food shortages in the United States. This may seem like an odd statement when there are so many empty grocery store shelves.
This is expected to change soon, however. Short-term inventory challenges exist, but the food supply remains in good shape.
This doesn’t mean we don’t have challenges across the food supply chain. As the private sector adapts to meets the food needs of Americans during the pandemic, so too should government at the federal, state, and local levels.
Here are three regulatory fixes that should be made immediately to help in these efforts.

I agree. As if they have deliberately participated in an effort to terrorize the population, all while profiting from it.

Was in the Redners up in Georgetown DE today, they were probably 80% stocked and still had toilet paper, cleaners, tissues, etc. They did have eggs but they were $4 dz
It was night and day compared to Food Lion and Walmarts around locally
The Walmart in Salisbury was poorly run way before the crisis. Most of the people that should have been stocking shelves were busy looking at their phones.
I heard that recently the manager was demoted and sent to a different store so hopefully the new manager can get the Salisbury Walmart straightened out. Having lived in other parts of the country I can assure you a lot of Walmarts are not run like the Salisbury one has been run. It is a shame because managers make very good money even though they do put in a lot of hours. Their bonus can be as much as the average person’s yearly salary.
There is just no excuse why the Salisbury one has been run so poorly.
The north Salisbury Walmart is the worst managed store of them all. It has been like this for many months, just worse now. I have wondered is the store even has a manager? It doesn't seem so. If they do, they need to send them packing immediately. There are people out there qualified to be managers, not the incompetant ones they have now. They need to be fired. P.S...........I am writing a letter to their corporate headquarters regarding this store. It is just plain awful.
