Troopers Arrest Milton Woman for Child Abuse- Milton

Milton– The Delaware State Police have arrested 35-year-old Christina R. Morris on multiple counts of child abuse and related charges.
The investigation began on November 14, 2019 at approximately 1:06 a.m., when Troopers were dispatched to the Beebe Medical Center in reference to a child abuse case.  Upon arrival, Troopers learned that a 12-year-old female had been brought to the hospital by her father with significant injuries to her face.  It was determined that the female victim had escaped her residence where she was being held by her mother, Christina Morris and physically abused.
Further investigation revealed that two other children were being held in the residence, a 14-year-old male and a 4-year-old female.  Troopers responded to the residence on W Circle Drive, Milton where Morris was taken into custody without incident.  The two children were also located in the residence and taken into custody.
It was learned that the 12-year-old female and 14-year old male had been physically abused by Morris on several occasions, in which Morris utilized a high heel shoe, baseball bat and belts.  Morris had also handcuffed the 12-year-old and threatened to kill her.  Morris prevented all of the children from leaving the residence.  All three children were transported to the A.I  Dupont Hospital for further treatment.
Troopers obtained a search warrant for the residence and located the baseball bat, belts and handcuffs.  It was also discovered that the windows of the residence were frosted and there were blocks in the windows to prevent them from being opened.

Morris was transported back to Troop 4 where she was charged with the following:
  • Child Abuse 1 st (4 counts)
  • Possession of a Deadly Weapon During the Commission of a Felony (2 counts)
  • Unlawful Imprisonment First Degree
  • Endangering the Welfare of a Child (3 counts)
  • Unlawful Imprisonment Second Degree (2 counts)
  • Terroristic Threatening
  • Child Abuse 3rd
Morris was arraigned before the Justice of the Peace Court and committed to the Delores J. Baylor Women’s Correctional Institution on $128500.00 cash only bond.

Where are the daddies? So one guy took the child to the hospital; first he knew anything bad was happening?

Huge difference in abuse and discipline

Mean bitch! And there's demented idiots beaten by their own parents that call it "discipline." It's like welfare; those on it raise kids who grow up to be welfare recipients. The kids that are beaten, grow up to become abusers themselves, and profess that it is right to do so, because it was how they were raised. Sad that these people can't better themselves and their families and get out of the abuse cycle. They might say it now that it was good for them to get beat by their parents, but they sure as hell didn't say it when they were being beaten years ago. And then they do it to THEIR kids! It's sad that laws have to be passed to keep parents from doing this to their kids. It's because some people will never learn that just because something was done to them doesn't make it right to do it to someone else. It was wrong when it was done to them, and it's wrong (illegal) for them to do it now.

9:06 Did she handcuff you? Lock you in the house? Barr the windows so you couldn’t get out? Hit you in the face with her high heel? Geez. Your momma may have beat you but she sure as heck didn’t beat any sense in you🤦‍♀️

Discipline and abuse are not the same. And yes, a lot of children grow up and do to their children what was done to them. The cycle needs to stop somewhere and hopefully this will help those 3 children not to grow up and be like their mother.

You have no idea what abuse I suffered at the hands of my father. So STFU! You may have only grown up with a mama, but I was in a traditional, albeit abusive, family. My dad would have deservedly gone to jail today for what he did to us as children. I have more sense than you will ever have. You have already demonstrated you can never learn. If you think you can "beat sense" into your children, then YOU are an abuser. Don't let them catch you, or you will be treated like the perp in the post. And don't let me catch you, because I will be doing the reporting. the law is on the children's side now, and bully, abusing parents like you are on notice.
