Public-school students in Dearborn, Michigan, will only be eating meat that is prepared according to Muslim traditions. Television station WXYZ reports the decision to only serve halal meat came about from a student advisory board. The school district said its new menu had nothing to do with religion. Yeah, right.
Let’s get real. It had everything to do with religion. And in Dearborn, Muslims are being provided an accommodation not granted to other religious groups. Public schools across the nation are cracking down on Christianity in the school house — all the while making room for prayer rugs in the classroom and Muslim meat in the cafeteria.
“Schools have never changed lunches to fit any other religious needs. If one needed a special diet due to religion or health, they did what all other students do, bring a lunch from home,” one irate mom wrote in a letter to the school superintendent.

Please president trump, cut off all federal funding to all schools and colleges, make that to all states and let them holler in the has that they dig, Michigan is a communist state just like California and maryland. Just look at the trash they elect to represent them. Suppose non Muslims don't want or refuse the halal meat. Are you going to serve two lunches. No, because you are communist and you are stuck with what they want. I would suggest dumping pig fat on it for flavor.

There are a large number of Muslims in that area, and that is not a rece
nt development. Goes back before 9/11. Even so, it seems like close to a 'state sponsored religion' move for those who don't want their children fed with Muslim food. It would probably pass muster if they offered Halal and non-Halal choices but that becomes a slippery slope to including every type of diet with a religious linkage.

Christians just couldn't leave well enough alone, you had to constantly try and shoehorn your religion into everything... constantly trying to chip away at the establishment clause. Bending and distorting it for your own agenda.
Well guess what happens? This happens. Other religions you don't like follow the same path.
See, that's one of the reasons the establishment clause exists in the first place. Religious liberty only exists when you are free to exercise your religion, but not to impose it on the rest of us.

Jails do it already and Muslim approved food is Jewish approved food and true Christians approved food as well. It's called kosher and you pay a tax on it at your grocery store every time you make a purchase with that little (K) symbol.
It's removal of pork products and it's just easier to not serve pork then opffer specialized diets to each student.
As for Muslims being removed from America, "yawn".
