I believe it's time to implement the Eastern Shore a Sanctuary city for the 2nd Amendment.
Our border states to include the EBT card holders of the Western Shore are rapidly implementing laws to take away our guns.
Shooting, hunting, and self defense is a common place here on the Eastern Shore.
There are towns, cities and most recently a area in Virginia that has become a Sanctuary City for the 2nd Amendment.
If Sherrif Mike Lewis is sincere in his opinions not to disarm Wicomico County.... as County Residents we can become the (1st) 2nd Amendment Sanctuary County on the Eastern Shore.
I am hoping the majority of Gun Owners feel the same as we do.

Establishing a sanctuary area is a political process. Mike Lewis is a great leader, but he is not a politician.

I did not know Oath Keepers had a chapter in Wicomico County. I am a charter member and did not realize this.
We should Implement a one County one vote in our state election system. That way all counties would have representation in the Maryland state elections not just just Prince George's Montgomery and Baltimore

All counties on Eastern Shore Maryland should Unite for This. No Brainier. Folks, urge these local politicians that if they want your vote in the next election, to sign their name under this pledge, or else!

People like you are dangerous. Your statements reflect a desire inside you to inflict damage to a certain group of people and hope for a chance to cause mayhem for any reason.
Violence should be avoided at all costs, if possible, and as a last resort.

You have no idea what you are talking about. That group must have very low standards, or none at all, to allow people like yourself to be a part of it.
I'm not intentionally trying to insult you but it's hard to avoid with your mentality. Thankfully, you're just all talk, as most of your kind are.
Please don't take your frustration out on animals or women.
It's scary that some people are allowed to own firearms when they clearly demonstrate they lose control of their emotions so easily and show a tendency to be hostile/violent.
Shooting first and asking questions later has never worked out good for anyone involved.

@542 That's why people like me are in or have been to prison for using the weapons and you lot are sitting around watching the laws be passed and implemented to take your guns away waiting for someone else to fight for you. You're the weak one. Anyone can talk tough on a blog. None of you lot are individually going to risk your freedom. You're all talk. It sounds good though.
And to take it a step further we saw just how hardened Oathkeepers were in New York. One of your own called for help, you lot showed up and watched the police take the guns, arrest the man, and charge him accordingly. You did jack. So save all the patriotic war hero rhetoric because not a single one of you are going to risk life in prison. You might go to war where you can attack farmers in another country consequence free but that's a far cry different than being the terrorist insurgent here. When either of you actually do something other than make speeches I'll change my tune. Criminals keep firearms regardless of the law. I know who I put my faith in to using them to keep them when the time comes. It damn sure won't be bubba the goose hunter. And while I respect Mike Lewis, his ass will rollover quick fast and in a hurry when his job or freedom is at risk. Keep that in mind when you talk smack about those Muslims in other countries. You declared martial law there and they actually lifted a finger in resistance. You lot haven't did jack but talk as you are watching them begin the process for gun confiscation.
Mike Lewis will arrest you as quick, or quicker than any other sheriff for carrying without a permit. He is all political, and no substance.
We have your back, Sheriff Lewis. Everyone should get the names and address's of any officers who would enforce such a law against their own people. And post it all over the internet.
