I didn't go out until late afternoon on Friday and got several great deals.
Got a $200 Exotic Sound gift card for future Son In Law for $100 (The stipulation is that you have to wait until Jan 1 to use it for it to be worth the whole $200.) We also got Weather Tech mats for the car for 20% off. Those things rarely go on sale!
Dollar General has multi packs of gift cards for 20% thru today, Sat. So a pack of $45 worth of Applebees was just $36. Got several types for gifts.
Lots of other restaurants were having gift card deals.
Also did some online shopping too. Good deals.

Yes. New (not reconditioned] Vitamix A 5200 blender for 259.00 on Amazon. Includes a seven year warranty. I’ve been looking for a while and the reconditioned ones are 329.00.

Got drunk and a strip club. Every thing was full price. Oh well I helped support single moms.

All the deals were 30 - 40 days ago before they jacked prices up just to say they lowered the prices.

Absolute joke...items cheaper without the Black Friday label! They mark items up 160% then slash 40% of that price....rip off!

Black Friday is becoming a piece of history slowly but surely. Something baby boomers will remember, and it was alot of fun for many years. But as Charlie Brown said in 1966, "Christmas has become to commercialized". Boy was he right.
Children being born today will not know what it was or why it was, when they are 10.

Yes, I stayed away from the crowds, the stores, and all the mania that takes over the minds of some of those shoppers.

How many got assaulted, shot, stabbed, and other uncivilized actions to get a tv or pair of shoes?

Yes, I did. I stayed home and had total control of the remote.
