Incident: Possession with intent to distribute narcotics: school zone/ Possession of firearms in a drug trafficking crime
 

Date of Incident: July 26, 2019
 

Location: 7400 Block Gumboro Road Pittsville, MD
 

Suspects:
Marvin Lee Briddell 58 years of age
Zolita Nikkita Tindley 38 years of age


Narrative: On July 26, 2019, members of the Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office Community Action Team and Criminal Investigation Division, with the assistance of the Pittsville Police Department executed a search and seizure warrant at a residence on 7400 block of Gumboro Road, Salisbury, Maryland. The Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office Emergency Response Team secured the residence prior to the search. The execution of said warrant was the result of an investigation into the distribution of controlled dangerous substances. As a result of the search warrant, Deputies located an amount of cocaine that is indicative of the intent to distribute. The residence was located within 1000 feet of Pittsville Elementary and Middle School. Deputies also located 2 firearms to include a Hi-Point .40 caliber semi-automatic handgun with an obliterated serial number and a .22 caliber rifle. As a result, Deputies arrested the target of the investigation, Marvin Lee Briddell and charged him accordingly. Zolita Nikkita Tindley was arrested and charged with possession with the intent to distribute cocaine. Briddell is held without bond at the detention center, Tindley was released after posting bail.

Briddell: Possession with intent to distribute narcotics within 1000 feet of a school zone, Possession with the intent to distribute narcotics, Possession of firearm during drug trafficking crime, Possession of firearm by prohibited person (felon), Possession of firearm with obliterated serial number along with other CDS/firearm related charges.
Tindley: Possession with intent to distribute narcotic within a 1000 feet of a school zone, possession with the intent to narcotic, and possession of cocaine

Northwest Woodsman: I really do feel sorry for those of you that live in an area where you have to contend with this type of individual on a daily basis. I’d move to Idaho and live in a chicken house before I would deal with that day in and day out.
