Water Rescue on the Wicomico River at 9:15 PM at 5292 Safe Harbor Way in the Village Down River development.
Stations 3 Fruitland, 15 Allen and 16 Salisbury alerted. Boat hit dock with multiple people involved. It's 9:55 pm, 40 minutes later and 2 people are reportedly missing. Search is on for the 2 missing. One patient with facial injuries being assessed by EMS.
DNR has two boats on scene. MSP Trooper 4 requested to light up the area. Dive Teams getting ready.
The water rescue/boat crash resulted in two fatalities recovered. WTF is out on the water when it's dark anyway???
Come on people, please, please, please wear life jackets!!

Can someone please tell me why the Wicomico County Sheriff's Office doesn't have a boat to patrol the Wicomico River and respond on water rescues? At least during the Summer.
They've got them damn Harley Davidson motorcycles though.
