New Hampshire Gov. Chris Sununu (R) vetoed expanded background checks and other gun control legislation passed by the state’s Democrat-controlled House and Senate.
WMUR reports that one of the bills expanded background checks, a second bill put in place a three-day waiting period on gun purchases, and a the third bill outlawed carrying a gun on school property for self-defense.
Sununu released a statement on his decision to veto, saying, “These three bills would not solve our national issues nor would they prevent evil individuals from doing harm, but they would further restrict the constitutional rights of law-abiding New Hampshire citizens.”

I have a lot of guns and am a great shot and responsible holder as everyone should be and can take care of myself unarmed and don't feel threatened or volatile as a potential victim walking out my door. This Wild West threatening paranoia from doughy scared dip shits makes us no more civilized or protected.
I wish we haD a governor like that, a real conservative!
Thank god for the second Amendment! !
The CONSTITUTION has already given EVERY AMERICAN the RIGHT TO A FIREARM.
PERIOD!!!
YOU HEAR THAT HOGAN!!! GET on it remove the restrictions on concealed carry in MD...
People in NH take the state motto seriously: Live Free Or Die.
Maryland is still The Free State, but not the way the name was first meant. It's now a place where freedoms are taken away and then doled out by government, often for a price.
Maryland is not the free state, it the "FEE" state
Md. is the Free State like Baltimore is Charm City.
