On Tuesday, the first day of school at Clark Atlanta University, one of a group of historically black colleges, a male shooter fired into a group of roughly 200 students, wounding four female students who attended either Clark Atlanta or nearby Spelman College. The shooting occurred outside the library, which is used by students from nearby colleges as well. The students were holding a party to mark the end of orientation, ABC News reported.
Atlanta police Capt. William Ricker stated, “It appears there were two separate groups that were targeting each other, and these people were just caught in the crossfire.”
11 Alive reported, “Police said they initially found three women students with gunshot wounds near the Robert W. Woodruff Library at the AUC. Those students were immediately taken to Grady Hospital. That’s when a fourth student showed up to the hospital as well to be treated for a gunshot wound. Police said the victims are in stable condition.”

Did the shooter have a REDFLAG background CK ? Lol.
Thank goodness there was no loss of life. What in the world is going on here? While apparently there is no motive at this point I just can't imagine why there is so much hate that someone feels compelled to risk taking the life of innocents who are just enjoying going to college.
I am sure the shooters had a concealed carry permit, has been through training, background checks and has registered all of their firearms. Something as a peace loving, gun rights believer is required to do before he can buy a new pistol to protect them and their family!
Shootings like that are much more attributable to societal breakdowns and mental health issues than gun control. Imagine the mentality or lack thereof of someone who would shoot into or through a crowd of unrelated bystanders.
Exactly 8:23 !
Northwest Woodsman : Sorry, but you can attribute this and most other shootings to the demographic involved. 400 years is just a speck of time that has little effect on modification of genes contributing to low intelligence, lack of impulse control and inability to foresee consequences. Those traits contribute to the tribal violence that everyone recognizes but are afraid to speak of. This comment is totally true and if the facts are ugly and offend the sensibilities of some, so be it. It is way past time for us to stand up against this violent element in our midst.
This is the first I have heard about this story. It must not have been those crazy white nationalists doing the shooting or the story would be 24-7 news cycle.
Yet another white supremacist domestic terrorist mass shooting, why won’t anyone think of the children, guns are bad!
Oh wait.
Never mind. Nothing to see here.
This would not have happened in a gun free zone.
Nothing about this on the MSM...
