Facebook's three social platforms — Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp — all experienced outages on Wednesday morning.
According to Down Detector, there were problems around the world. Outages were concentrated in the eastern United States, and parts of Europe and South America.

I bet people were/are freaking out. Amazes me how dependent some have become on all of this social media crap.
thanks for clearing that up...I have gone on facebook twice this afternoon to find my and others' photos are not showing up ( just blank boxes) and videos just keep spinning...glad to know its just not me and my computer
Take them down for good.
