President Trump announced Sunday the annual Rolling Thunder veterans gathering would go on past this year, which was expected to be its last ride.
Since 1988, veterans and supporters have ridden motorcycles through Washington to show support and solidarity for prisoners of war and those missing in action. Organizers said there have been financial and logistical reasons for pulling the plug on the event after this year. But Trump tweeted Sunday that they would be returning.
“The Great Patriots of Rolling Thunder WILL be coming back to Washington, D.C. next year, & hopefully for many years to come. It is where they want to be, & where they should be. Have a wonderful time today. Thank you to our great men & women of the Pentagon for working it out!” he said.

That is great,but regardless the bigger the group of whomever the bigger the mess they leave behind.
Roll on but a little less Thunder would be nice.

You’re probably have never been to rolling thunder, real clean and responsible, the whole thing is based on respect.
I was there all day to honor our Viet Nam vets POW and MIA. Nothing more moving than to see 1mil+ folks of all creed color and mc groups and clubs there for one cause. And i might add no incidents... good stuff. To quote Garth Brooks.. "let the thunder roll"

Only thing the bikers left was the tears of the Democrats. Cause they can do nothing to get this many people together for any reason
10:23 No mess left behind, I've road to Rolling Thunder over 20 times. It's not a big party as you are obliviously assuming. It is attended by responsible Patriots that know how to act and respect our Capitol city
