A Manhattan federal judge has denied a bid by President Donald Trump and his companies to block congressional subpoenas on two banks to obtain years worth of financial records.
The ruling Wednesday by District Judge Edgardo Ramos in Manhattan federal court to deny injunctions on Deutsche Bank and Capital One, which have done business with Trump and his businesses, and which received subpoenas from two House of Representatives committees, is the latest setback for efforts by Trump lawyers to prevent exposure of his financial records.
The ruling comes just days after a federal judge in Washington, DC, found that Trump can’t stop Mazars, Trump’s accounting firm, from complying with another congressional subpoena for Trump’s financial records. His lawyers are appealing that ruling.

It will be appealed and ultimately the President will win.If this tyranny is allowed to proceed any one can be politically persecuted by these liberal elitists who has a different point of view. Since Pelosi, Nadler, Schiff, Cummings, Waters and the Democrats are stating no one is above the LAW then why do they pass laws where Congress is exempt? If the President and his Family has to present their tax forms and business dealings then all of Congress and their Families should be mandated to comply with this same mandate. They say Trump can be blackmailed then Congress can be forced coerced into passing laws for certain companies because of their actions. Who in Congress and their Families gets kickbacks, gifts, stocks, special favors etc. for special favors in creating LAWS? How do they all become millionaires on a $170,000 salary? This is called equality.
