Joe Biden's son Hunter, 49, has reportedly split from his partner of two years Hallie Biden, 45, who was the widow of his late brother Beau.
The break-up comes on the heels of Joe Biden's highly anticipated presidential campaign announcement just last week.
In 2016 Biden said he didn't run for president because he was grieving over Beau's death and was notably mum on his son Hunter's tawdry affair that tarnished his family's wholesome reputation.
Hallie was the wife to Joseph 'Beau' Biden, the former Attorney General of Delaware and a major in the National Guard, until he tragically passed away at the age of 46 from brain cancer in 2015. The two share a son and daughter.

If Beau was dead, she was not having a tawdry affair. Funny how something that used to be a standard practice 75-100 years ago is now tawdry. My own great grandmother married her dead husband's brother. She wasn't having a tawdry affair with him before her previous husband's death. Many people come together in grief and shared experiences. In the long past, unmarried men would wed their dead brother's widow to care for the family.

It still isn't right and no matter what families did way back Jerry Lee Lewis the singer married like a 14yr old it doesn't make it right. And if there is any truth to the fact she was dating the brother before Beau died than that is lower than a snake's belly. Don't care for them Joe and the Brother Hunter don't seem like the Beau who had everyone's respect. Besides the fact Biden will not be president he doesn't stand a chance. He needs to live out his life quietly out of the limelight, there has already been to much bad media coverage on him to make him a viable candidate, and he is just not presidential material. He did nothing but hide in the background when he was Vice President, and was really never a good politician.

An unmarried person marrying a widowed sister-in-law or brother-in-law is not out of line. IIRC Hunter was married and had kids when he took up with his sister-in-law; don't know if Beau was dead at that point. Joe's moral backbone was firm as jello. Tawdry!
