WHITEHAVEN & UPPER FERRIES HOURS OF OPERATION CHANGE

Salisbury, MD … Starting May 16, 2019, the Whitehaven and Upper ferries will be changing their summertime hours of operation to operating from 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (May 16th through September 15th). Historically, the ferries have operated 6:00 AM - 7:30 PM during the summer, however, traffic counts have shown that 95% of the ferry usage occurs between 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM. The revised hours of operation will maximize the ferry usage while reducing the cost to run the ferry. Operation during the other seasons will remain unchanged.
