A man armed with a semi-automatic weapon stormed a New Zealand mosque on Friday afternoon local time, in one of two attacks on houses of worship in the city of Christchurch, local police said.
Police arrested four people including the gunman who opened fire at the Masjid Al Noor mosque in the center of the city, killing multiple people there at about 1:40 p.m.
Another shooting occurred at another mosque on nearby Linwood Avenue, authorities said in a press briefing after the shootings.
“This is and will be one of New Zealand’s darkest days,” Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern said after the shootings.
Ardern said that at least 40 people had been killed in the attacks and more than 25 were seriously injured.

yes but this was in new zealand, if it was the uk they would have had to use knives, until knives are banned then they'll start using hammers, maybe axes, or shovels, until they are all banned!!
How many less would have died had some of the people been armed and trained.
Knives are already banned in the UK, Google it...
