The county government effort to loosen fire sprinkler regulations for builders and homebuyers continued Tuesday, as the Worcester County Commissioners reviewed changes proposed for building and housing documents.
Director of Permitting Ed Tudor presented a revised draft of the Building Permit Application form, as well as a draft for the Single-Family Home Residential Fire Sprinkler Waiver form following the commissioners’ discussions in a meeting on Jan. 22.
Tudor and County Attorney Maureen Howarth prepared the revisions, according to a memorandum.

What say you Bob Culver ?
Knowing how Bob Culver originally voted and also the entire County Council as the vote was unanimous - they were all against the single-family residential sprinkler ordinance. So my predictions are that Wicomico will also move to abolish enforcement of that ordinance also. If I were a betting man, I would say that it would come even sooner than Worcester's July 1st enactment.
How do you handle that when it is Maryland law?

Obviously you didn't read the article, IDIOT!!
Only two States in the entire country have this draconian law, Maryland-and-California. Unfortunately for California, they have the wrong type of sprinkler law. Instead of being interior residential sprinklers, the law should have specified outdoor fire sprinkler protection.
